with the customer.
Adherence to the tightest tolerances must be
guaranteed so that the components like armature
shafts (see above left) for electric motors
work perfectly.

In our stamping and bending division, our
employees understand the progress thoroughly;
and also its importance to the SCHERDEL Group.
The word ‘quality’ is written large, down to the
smallest detail.
From design to toolmaking right up to manufacture,
all under the same roof, the most difficult
demands of our customers and their detailed
wishes are fulfilled. Besides the use of the latest
technologies, the experience and know-how of our
project teams of designers and application engineers
are of crucial importance. Cost optimisation
for customers is always the central point of all
our thoughts.

supply industry or household electronics or sport
and leisure equipment; or for furniture and fittings;
stampings and shaped components from
SCHERDEL are always reliable and stand out
through the great variety of their possible applications.
On-line precision in toolmaking
SCHERDEL’s stamping and bending technology is
all planned and produced under the same roof.
Modern on-line CAD equipment is used in our
design department. The corresponding data are
made available to production planning and then
using these data, production machines are managed
accordingly. In this way the required precision
of design can be guaranteed from design to
toolmaking and also right through to the manufacture
of the individual parts. Tools for stampings
and shaped components, follow-on tools and also
transfer tools, together with gauges and tensioning
equipment are always ready for use just in time.
Customers’ orders can thus always be dealt with
according to agreed delivery dates.
Wire rings (see above left) are used for fastening
wheel trim caps or as circlips for conveyor equipment.
In the manufacture of wheel trim rings with
one or more ribs any required form is normally
possible. This also applies to complicated wire
shapes (see middle left) with a wire diameter
of 0,6 - 6 mm.
In the manufacture of contact elements and
blanks (see below left) SCHERDEL’s stamping
and bending division relies on the long-term
experience of their project teams of application
engineers and technicians.
Motor housings for electric motors are rolled and
then clipped and calibrated. In the manufacture of
clamping components there are unlimited possibilities
for manufacturing different shapes.
Components of all types of manufacture have
one thing in common. With automatic feed,
pressing, riveting or welding they fulfil the
toughest demands.
Spiral springs (see above left) solve many problems.
They are used, for example, in window
levers, in seat adjusters in cars, or for RPM control.
With a material thickness of 0,06 - 4 mm, stampings and shaped components can be heavily stressed
and have a long life.
Retaining elements for windshield wipers, contact components for vehicle-heating systems, hinge elements,
shielding plates and retaining belts have stood the test of time. Automotive and supply industry,
fittings and furniture manufacturers, electronic and household goods manufacturers as well as manufacturers
of sporting goods and leisure equipment rely on components supplied by SCHERDEL’s stamping
and bending division.
