Our Programs

ASSESSMENT

The first step in entering a treatment

program is to complete an assessment with

one of our counselors, who will then be

able to determine the right program(s) for

you. You can schedule an assessment

by calling (330) 375-2984.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual counseling is available for

adults and adolescents. It is offered to

clients who attend group, and may also

be offered instead of group, at the

counselor’s discretion.

ALCOHOL, TOBACCO and

OTHER DRUG Clinic

ATOD Clinic is a three-hour alcohol/other

drug education program aimed at

interrupting early substance use patterns.

Topics include:

• Harmful effects of alcohol/other drugs

• Blood alcohol levels

• Consequences of choices

• Laws related to substance use

• Family roles and hereditary risks

CHECKPOINT

Checkpoint is an eight-week therapy group to

treat those with substance abuse issues.

Program length is flexible, based on client needs.

Topics covered include:

• Negative effects of alcohol/other drugs

• Relapse prevention

• Family dynamics

• Decision making skills

• 12-step programs

• Emotions and defenses

I N S I G H T

Insight is a two

hour alcohol/other

drug education

program aimed at

interrupting early

substance use in

adolescents.

Topics include :

• Harmful effects of alcohol/other drugs

• Blood alcohol levels

• Consequences of choices

• Laws related to underage

consumption

• Family roles and hereditary risks

FOR TEENS

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT

(IOP) and AFTERCARE

IOP treatment is available for adults who

are chemically dependent. IOP includes

individual and group counseling, and is

designed as an eight week program, but

the length of time is flexible, depending

on client needs. It meets three times per

week for three hours per day. The aftercare

program is an eight week program to

support relapse prevention among

recovering adults.

Individual counseling and urine drug

screening are also part of this program.
