WELCOME TO

SEPG NORTH AMERICA 2009!

With today’s troubled economy causing businesses to cut costs, why should

your company send you to a conference? The answer is simple: There’s no

better time than now to invest in professional development that will enable

you, your team, and your organization to perform at a higher level.

Performance is key to an organization’s bottom line, and improving

performance through process and workforce capability is what SEPG

North America 2009 is all about.

I hope you’ll join the global SEPG community of software and systems

professionals March 23–26 in San Jose, California to learn about industry

trends, hot topics, and innovative solutions that organizations are using

to lower costs and deliver higher quality products and services across the

lifecycle of software-intensive systems. SEPG North America 2009 not only

offers an exceptional program but also provides an excellent environment to

meet your peers, build relationships, and exchange lessons learned.

Since 1988, SEPG North America has delivered the industry’s leading experts,

latest research, and current hot topics into an annual conference program

second to none. Building on our long history, we’ve developed a technical

program for 2009 based on what past SEPG conference attendees have told

us they want: real-world solutions to today’s challenges featuring new

speakers and presentations. Whether you’re just starting out or are a pro,

you’ll take back ideas and solutions you can immediately implement in your

organization.

With four days, multiple tracks, and experts from organizations all over

the world, SEPG North America 2009 offers a tremendous return on your

organization’s investment in performance improvement. I look forward to

seeing you in San Jose, California March 23–26 for SEPG North America 2009.
