cost, for a pre-election <strong>meeting</strong> on May 3, 2010 and for public voting on May 4, 2010 as<br />

T. Extended Field Trips<br />

I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board <strong>of</strong> Education approve the following extended field<br />

trips:<br />

1. High School Girls’ Lacrosse<br />

Approximately 39 players and three (3) chaperones will be traveling to<br />

Westerville, Ohio, to participate in the 2010 Warrior Lacrosse Invitational. They<br />

will depart Saturday, May 1, 2010, and return on Sunday, May 2, 2010. Total<br />

cost <strong>of</strong> the trip is $2,377. The parent group - <strong>Stow</strong> Stix and the <strong>Stow</strong>-<strong>Munroe</strong><br />

<strong>Falls</strong> Booster Club will provide the necessary funds. Players and chaperones will<br />

be staying at the Sleep Inn and Suites, Columbus, Ohio. Evans Transportation<br />

Service, Inc. will provide transportation.<br />

I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board <strong>of</strong> Education approve the following extended field<br />

trips:<br />

2. High School Band<br />

Approximately 255 students, three (3) directors, 22 parent chaperones, six<br />

college students (student directors) and two registered nurses will be traveling to<br />

Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA, to receive small group band instruction.<br />

They will depart Sunday, August 8, 2010, at 12:00 noon and return on Friday,<br />

August 13, 2010, at 4:00 P.M. Students and chaperones will be staying in the<br />

Edinboro University, Lawrence Towers. Total cost <strong>of</strong> the trip is $206.00 per<br />

student, but there are fundraisers planned to help defray the cost. The <strong>Stow</strong>-<br />

<strong>Munroe</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> <strong>City</strong> School bus and band bus will provide transportation.<br />
