Year
I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board of Education approve the following employment
of Auxiliary Service Personnel:
Mary Jane Golias: Non-certified Auxiliary Services secretary; 3 days per week, 7.5
hours per day, 117 days per year, during the 2010-2011 academic year.
Michelle Kotch: Certificated Reading Tutor; 3.5 hours per day, 101 days per year,
during the 2010-2011 academic year.
Michelle Kotch: Certificated Reading and Math Tutor; 1 hour per day, 136 hours per
year, during the 2010-2011 academic year.
Mary Rich: Certificated Remedial Tutor; 5 days per week, 5 hours per day, 180 days
per year, during the 2010-2011 academic year.

Brian Kazan: Class III, Bus Driver; 4.25 hours per day, 9 months per year; effective at
the end of the day April 7, 2010.

I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board of Education authorize the Summit County Board
of Elections to use Echo Hills, Fishcreek, Riverview, Woodland, Lakeview and Kimpton, at no
cost, for a pre-election meeting on May 3, 2010 and for public voting on May 4, 2010 as
presented in Exhibit #10. The Board of Elections will reimburse the district for custodial fees.

I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board of Education approve the Stow-Munroe Falls High
School Program of Studies for the 2010-2011 school year, available under separate cover, in
the Superintendent’s office.

T. Extended Field Trips
I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board of Education approve the following extended field
trips:
1. High School Girls’ Lacrosse
Approximately 39 players and three (3) chaperones will be traveling to
Westerville, Ohio, to participate in the 2010 Warrior Lacrosse Invitational. They
will depart Saturday, May 1, 2010, and return on Sunday, May 2, 2010. Total
cost of the trip is $2,377. The parent group - Stow Stix and the Stow-Munroe
Falls Booster Club will provide the necessary funds. Players and chaperones will
be staying at the Sleep Inn and Suites, Columbus, Ohio. Evans Transportation
Service, Inc. will provide transportation.

I WISH TO RECOMMEND that the Board of Education approve the following extended field
trips:
2. High School Band
Approximately 255 students, three (3) directors, 22 parent chaperones, six
college students (student directors) and two registered nurses will be traveling to
Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA, to receive small group band instruction.
They will depart Sunday, August 8, 2010, at 12:00 noon and return on Friday,
August 13, 2010, at 4:00 P.M. Students and chaperones will be staying in the
Edinboro University, Lawrence Towers. Total cost of the trip is $206.00 per
student, but there are fundraisers planned to help defray the cost. The Stow-
Munroe Falls City School bus and band bus will provide transportation.
