About the cover
Dr. Wayne Mosley (’83) holds an Iraqi child caught
in a firefight with her father as they were driving.
Mosley worked with Jim Young, of Macon, Ga.,
who built a prosthetic foot, to give her a new foot.
Mosley said, “Because of the economic situation
in Iraq, this child would be walking with crutches
for the rest of her life. The future of Arab women
with a deformity is miserable. This prosthetic will
help provide her a normal life.”
