Spa-Inspired Lifestyle Residences at Ten Museum Park to Open in January 2007
MIAMI-Ten Museum Park, Clinique La Prairie Lifestyle Residences, a new, fifty-story
residential tower designed by Chad Oppenheim, will redefine luxury living in Miami. In a
revolutionary evolution of spa living, Ten Museum Park-the first spa lifestyle building in the
world-offers the amenities of the world-renowned Clinique La Prairie spa in each of its oneand
two-bedroom condominium units, tower suites and penthouses. This beautiful tower,
located opposite the site where Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron have been
commissioned to design the new Miami Art Museum, is poised to change the face of Miami's
skyline and spark a renaissance in the city's downtown area.

The mixed-use building offers residents an unparalleled combination of spa experiences that
exemplify the spirit of Miami and cater to the city's growing population of young
professionals. Each master bathroom is outfitted with spa amenities. The building's six pools
include infinity-edge sunrise and sunset pools, lap pools, and unique plunge pools. In
addition, each of the top twelve units in the building has a private rooftop vitality pool.
Internationally recognized for its groundbreaking, anti-aging studies and practices at its
headquarters in Montreux, Switzerland, Clinique La Prairie's first United States center will be
open at Ten Museum Park in December 2007. The spa will be on the eight and ninth floors of
the building. Highlighting wellness, vitality and beauty, the spirit of the Clinique La Prairie
Wellness Center continue throughout the building and its architecture. Following the opening
of Ten Museum Park, the company has plans to roll out similar buildings in Las Vegas, Asia,
and the Middle East.
For Oppenheim, the experience of the building shapes its design. His clean, elemental form
acts as a backdrop to the residents' experience of Ten Museum Park's spa luxuries and the
sounds, sights, and smells of Miami's tropical landscape. In keeping with its spa atmosphere,
the building filters experiences, heightening the desirable, while blocking out the rest.
Interstitial spaces throughout the building allow for indoors and outdoors to merge, creating
an open, transmutable lifestyle suited to the location. In each unit the living room flows out
on to a terrace, and outdoor spaces continue around the building, culminating in a 25,000-
square-foot sky garden with fruit trees and tropical vegetation. From the scent of lush flowers
and carefully framed views, to the sounds of water that surround residents, Oppenheim's
design seeks to create a euphoria of heightened pleasures.
The developers also aim to foster a sense of community within the building, and to connect
residents to a sophisticated international network. Located in downtown Miami adjacent to
museums, the new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, and entertainment venues, the
building will feature a 10,000-square-foot restaurant on the ground floor with indoor and
outdoor dining. Parking facilities and beauty-related businesses will be situated on the first
through eighth floors. A nightclub and lounge, presented by Michael Capponi, will host his
signature A-list events. Residents will have access to the club's VIP lounge, and, through
Capponi, will be able to gain access to the most exclusive events around the world.

TO TEN MUSEUM PARK, MIAMI
MIAMI - Clinique La Prairie, the world-renowned health, beauty, and fitness spa in Montreux,
Switzerland will open its first facility in the United States at Ten Museum Park, Clinique La
Prairie Lifestyle Residences, Miami, December 2007. Located on the 8th and 9th floors of the
fifty-story condominium tower, the Miami branch will be a state-of-the-art wellness center
and an oasis in a busy, urban environment.
Inspired by Miami's tropical climate, Armin Mattli, the owner of Clinique La Prairie, has
created a spa menu for Miami that will offer a selection of CLP's celebrated treatments, in
addition to massages and treatments that will compliment South Florida's sybaritic lifestyle.
“We wanted to create a unique center for health and well being that will be unrivaled in the
United States. Now the people in Miami will be able to share in our unique treatments that
Kings, Queens, Heads of State, and movie stars have been enjoying for the past seventy five
years in Switzerland,” said Mattli.
CLP at Ten Museum Park will transcend the typical spa experience and will offer proprietary
treatments for beauty and health using the latest technology. Special attention is being given
to the design of the space by architect Chad Oppenheim with a focus on acoustics, air
circulation, materials, and the internal landscape. CLP at Ten Museum Park will offer a more
personal and private treatment program to enable residents and members to maximize the
benefits of the spa. Because of expected demand, there will be a limited amount of
memberships available.
In addition to massage cabins, beauty-care cabins, thalasso cabins, VIP cabins, the hammam
room, and the manicure and pedicure room located on the 8th floor, CLP treatments will
include Simonin – An electroridopuncture anti-wrinkle, toning treatment, Vitapeel - a
treatment that combines complete exfoliation and the stimulation of the skin's
microcirculation using a vacuum, and CellU M6 - A treatment that combines rolling and
aspiration for curbing cellulite and the trimming the figure. The three thalassomed treatments
available include Chromotherm - an individual, therapeutic Turkish bath, Vichy Shower - a
manual massage given while lying on a bed sprayed with water jets, and Niagra - a massage
by thousands of micro air bubbles and underwater jets in a bath containing seaweed and
essential oils.
Treatments special for Miami include Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Massage with
Aromatics - this massage relaxes the entire body and helps to harmonize the body's mental
and physical sensations. Aromatic oils accentuate the effect of the massage, Ayurvedic and
Shiro Dara Massage - Warm oil is trickled over the forehead after a body massage for

complete relaxation, and La Stone Therapy - a traditional Native American massage that
uses 40 hot and cold stones placed on the body's energy points to relieve sore muscles and
stimulate blood flow.
On the 9th floor, residents and members will find an exquisitely landscaped sky garden with
six swimming pools, outdoor living areas and exotic vegetation. Swiss landscape architect
Enzo Enea is collaborating with architect Chad Oppenheim to create one of the most
breathtaking, outdoor spaces in South Florida.

Florida. Chad Oppenheim is the principal of Oppenheim
architecture + design, a forward-thinking firm that

design. The firm continually creates projects that push
the envelope of domestic architecture and hospitality architecture in Miami and beyond.
A 1994 graduate of Cornell University, Oppenheim received his professional training at firms
in Spain, Japan, and the United States. Oppenheim gained a reputation for design excellence
and architectural bravado on the international scene and he is being tapped for some of the
most exciting mixed-use projects around the world.
The refined vigor of Oppenheim's designs has fundamentally changed the nature of
residential high-rise buildings from static boxes to dynamic, light-filled spaces with active
rooftop environments, elevated swimming pools, and plant-filled gardens-elements that
coalesce to define refined living in the 21st century.
His first condominium project in Miami, the Ilona, was completed in 2003. This project set the
standard for Oppenheim's residential designs that appeal to a pleasure-oriented generation
by fusing edgy chic with hedonistic comfort. Oppenheim also designs innovative, contextually
sensitive, and energy efficient private residences; his own house, the Villa Allegra, was
completed in Miami in 2004, and he has recently designed houses on Red Mountain in Aspen,
Colorado and on the island of Mustique.
His latest building, the Clinique La Prarie Lifestyle Residences at Ten Museum Park, is an
evolution of his experiential design philosophy, heightening the spa lifestyle in a building of
unparalleled amenities. The building will open in January 2007. Also in the works are two
groundbreaking projects in Miami's Design District. CUBE is a dramatic building with an
elemental structural steel infrastructure that creates the possibility for flexible interior spaces,
and COR is a revolutionary, multi-use tower that represents the cutting edge in “green”
design by incorporating the latest in alternative technologies. Oppenheim is also at work on
two new large-scale projects: the $1.5 billion expansion of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in
Las Vegas for Peter Morton, and the new $1.2 billion Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne.
