Proper use of your e-mail list is important enough to warrant it’s own section. If you don’t
use and maintain your list properly, you risk alienating a large portion of exacting the
audience with which you are trying to establish a strong relationship.
Guidelines:
Get the individual’s permission to add their name to your list.
Immediately remove a name when requested to
Send only to target audiences, not indiscriminately
Don’t sell or rent your list to others. You’ll get blamed for the resulting junk email.
Keep your list secure and confidential.
Don’t use the list for any reason other how you induced a person to sign up.
