"Announce" newsgroups: With all newsgroups showing in your newsreader, search
for relevant discussion groups with "announce" in the name. Customize your
announcement for a better "fit" if necessary.

more information about having them announce your newsletter, send an e-mail to
this address with "info new-list" in the body of your message.

Look for places to place links to your newsletter, particularly at super directories of newsletters
and e-zine. Pages for newsletter and e-zines are good candidates for reciprocal linking (Exercise
5-6).
Add mention of your free newsletter in your signature before participating in discussion
groups (Lesson 6).
Contact trade journals, newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and other special interest media
aimed at your target audiences. Inform them in a news release of your newsletter (Lesson 9).
It’s a good idea to offer visitors a chance to subscribe to your newsletters from many different
pages at your web site. Particularly if you include a comment how by subscribing to the
newsletter, visitors can monitor updates and events at the part where they are at.
