Each time you make a major change to your site and prepare a new marketing plan, you should
re-register. new keywords, new target audiences, new pages all justify repeating registration. Only
by re-registering can you be certain that information recorded for your site is up to date.
Besides, some search engines schedule visits based on how often pages change. Sites with
frequent changes are visited more often by some search engines’ robots.
Steps for Completing the Registration Follow-Up Report
1. Search Engine / URL: List the search engines where you manually registered your site and their
URLs.
2. Date Submit: Record the date you registered.
3. Follow-up Date: Record follow-up date(s).
4. Status, Ranking: Note pertinent information such as ranking in a search, need to register, etc.
