6.Pricing: The lack of satisfactory results may be the fault of your ads but in the pricing of
your product or service. Test different pricing schemes: sell more at lower prices or fewer
at higher price. A lot depends on your cost structure and your goals. If your costs drop
dramatically after a certain production level, you may want to price your product to
encourage a maximum number of sales. If generating web traffic is your primary
goal, then drop your price dramatically or even give it away for free.
Finally, consider hiring a direct mail copywriter if you aren’t confident in your abilities to
write effective ads. It’s a small job for a copywriter and will probably cost only a few
hundred dollars.
