Minibeast Incursion
On Tuesday the girls had a creepy crawly visit! Errol and Julie from ‘Minibeasts in the Classroom’
visited the girls. The girls were able to see and handle some interesting minibeasts! Errol and Julie
brought a working bee hive, which was fascinating, as well as scorpions, spiders and stick insects.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot of interesting facts about minibeasts.
family reading. Please return it to Mrs Grimmer in the Library.
Reading Tip: Pick books that are at the right level. Help your child pick books that are not too
difficult. The aim is to give your child lots of successful reading experiences. Picture books are an
excellent way to develop comprehension skills such as the ability to make inferences and
predictions.
