<strong>the</strong> Eastern states to drive to <strong>Gear</strong> Expo. Columbu i approximately<br />
seven hours driv<strong>in</strong>g distance from Chicago. three<br />
hours from P<strong>in</strong> burgh. and 12 from Des Mo<strong>in</strong>es. Show goers<br />
who arc <strong>in</strong> a greater hurry can take advantage of <strong>the</strong> summer<br />
air fares or lase book<strong>in</strong>g rates. Cheaper airfare are expected<br />
closer to <strong>the</strong> show date. and AGMA has et aside a block of<br />
hotel rooms al special rates Ie ee box). Hotels are all cpproaimatelya<br />
ten-m<strong>in</strong>ute drive from <strong>the</strong> airport and cab fare should<br />
run Ie than $15.<br />
Regardless of how <strong>the</strong>y get (here. Medert expect <strong>Gear</strong> Expo<br />
attendees to be impressed with tile show's facilities.<br />
The Greater Columbus Convention Center was recently<br />
expanded with unlimited floor load restrictions, which is ano<strong>the</strong>r<br />
reason it was <strong>the</strong> ire selected. (Becau e of <strong>the</strong> heavy equipment<br />
normally brought to <strong>the</strong> show. <strong>Gear</strong> Expo cannot be held<br />
at facilities with restriction of less than 350 pound per quare<br />
<strong>in</strong>ch.)<br />
Also. <strong>the</strong>re are 3() restaurant with<strong>in</strong> five 1.0 W m<strong>in</strong>utes'<br />
distance of <strong>the</strong> show. 0<br />
