GED TESTING CENTER
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Registration is available on scheduled dates.
2. Registration and payment are required before testing.
3. Students are required to bring the exact change for registration payment.
4. Students must present proper ID and Social Security card to Registrar upon registration.
TESTING DAYS & TIME
Dates: 9/5/12 - 12/19/12
Days: Wednesday (Special testing days will be announced by the Chief Examiner.)
Time: 4:00 p.m. (NO LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE ADMITTED)
Location: Southwest High School Career & Technology Center Room #81
Fee: $30.00 Processing Fee $12.00 per test $12.00 retest fee
*PROCESSING FEE DUE PRIOR TO FIRST TEST
TESTING REQUIREMENTS
1. Students must present a valid ORIGINAL Texas Driver’s License, Military ID ,
or Department of Public Safety Photo I.D. Temporary Identification will also
be accepted.
2. Students must present ORIGINAL Social Security card. Temporary cardswill
also be accepted.
3. Permanent withdrawal forms from last school attended (applies to 17 yrs. of age).
4. Parent or guardian must accompany students 17 yrs. of age to registration and
first test day.
5. Students with court orders must present the original court order to the GED Registrar
and the GED Chief Examiner. If no official photo ID is available, student must
present a notarized affidavit.

REGISTRATION LOCATION
The GED Registration Office is located in Bldg. 502 Room 13 in the
SWISD Central Office complex area.
REGISTRATION FEES
Fees may be paid with check, cash, or money order.
Exact cash must be provided with cash payment.
