A brief passage of when Giuliano Magni, from his small workshop 

in Prato, started producing his first mattresses.

whole of the national market, Giuliano had his second great

some industrial sectors, vacuum-packing became the road to 

a greater project: quicker and more secure delivery, mattresses 

arriving in a better condition and larger quantities of mattresses 

can be transported, reducing all the extra packaging, 

reducing transport costs, and reducing pollution, therefore 

more ecologically friendly.

It often happens that there is difference of opinions when 

choosing a mattress, and couples often have a problem 

in choosing one! Finally there is a mattress that’s the result 

of a simple and bright idea: Dualcomfort is made of 

two single identical mattresses joined together, made of 

three layers of different thickness: Memoform Magnifoam 

4 cm (1 5/8 inches), Elioform 8 cm (3 1/8 inches) and Memoform 

Magnifoam 8 cm (3 1/8 inches). The Elioform layer is 

put in the middle of the two Memoform Magnifoam layers 

of different thicknesses, so making a “Soft side” which 

gives softness and anatomical support and a “Firm side” 

which gives rigidity and orthopaedic support. The Silver 

covering is removable and hypoallergenic, the padding 

is made of cashmere on one side and silk on the other.
