Tampa Bay One’s program is designed to become both
locally and nationally recognized as a premier volleyball
club that creates a respectful and professional
environment for all of its members. Our experienced
coaching staff is dedicated to offering athletes, of all
levels, progressive training that will ensure their technical,
mental, and physical development. The various sectors our
club experience will provide the avenues and guidance
necessary for our athletes to attain their highest level of
performance. By teaching a healthy balance between
team mentality, commitment and competition, we will
instill qualities that promote success in every aspect of an
athlete’s life on and off the court.

Club Teams – Our teams will practice 2 or 3 times per week and
will travel either nationally or regionally and compete in
tournaments vs. other Clubs. The regular season runs January –
April with the possibility of playing thru June.
Recruiting Program - We are committed to offering
informational meetings, video production and guidance with
teams starting at age 16.
Private Lessons – Available upon request as an individual or in
small groups.
Leagues – Saturday/Sundays afternoons for all ages and skill
levels. Meant to foster kid’s development and interest in
volleyball.

Strength and Agility Training – Eric Hall (Pro Triathlete
and Certified Strength Trainer) will train any of our
athletes throughout the year 2 to 4 nights a week. For
our National Teams (14 and up) this is included in your
tuition. All our Regional teams can add it as well and
choose to pay for the year or pay month to month on an
individual basis.
Mini Club – For the athletes that don’t have the
opportunity to play at their school in the fall or want
extra training we offer a short season that plays a
regional schedule and limits the roster size to 8 athletes
per team. The season for mini club is August – October.

Specialty Training Clinics – We will be offering clinics
throughout the year for athletes that would like to get
additional training on specific positions (Outside, Rightside,
Middle Blocker, Libero, Setter).
Camps – Camps will be offered in December and over the
summer when athletes are out of school. Please check our
website during those times for the camps we offer.
Coaches Clinics – The Tampa Bay ONE Staff is not only
interested in improving the level of the players in our area
but the level of coaching as well. We will be hosting a couple
coaching clinics throughout the year for our coaches as well
as any coaches that would like to attend.

We will have meetings with all teams starting at age
16 to ensure that all players and parents who are
interested in collegiate play are informed and
prepared for the recruiting process.
Our staff has experienced the process from every
angle – parent, player, coach and thus can give
insight and encouragement with experience.
We will also offer to help with the production of a
skills video for any of our interested athletes. Game
footage will need to be provided by parents.

We will have teams for each age division from
10’s – 18’s
We will hold tryouts each fall to place players
on the proper team based on their skills and
athletic ability or potential.
Each year players will be evaluated without
consideration of their previous year’s
placement.

14 and Under: Emphasis on ball control
fundamentals, creating a competitive attitude,
cross training of athletes and a technical
background to be used in the older age divisions
15-16: Begin specializing positions, building on
competitive attitude, and understanding both
offensive and defensive systems
17-18: Prepare the athlete for collegiate level play,
refine mental aspects of the game

Black and Silver teams will travel Nationally as well
as within the state of Florida.
The main goal of these teams will be to compete
at the highest level possible and qualify for a bid to
Junior Olympics.
*We recommend that all of our Teams play in The AAU
National Championships which is held in Orlando in mid June.
There will be additional costs associated with this tournament.

Green and White teams will play a regional
schedule and travel within the state of Florida.
The main goal of these teams will be to improve
each athlete’s skills.
*These teams with also have an opportunity to qualify for a bid
to the Junior Olympics. We recommend that all of our Teams
play in The AAU National Championships which is held in
Orlando in mid June. There will be additional costs associated
with this tournament.

All teams will consist of 9 to 10 players.
There are situations where more than 10 players
will be placed on a team with the approval of the
Directors.

It is our goal to have a Head and Assistant Coach
on every team.
Coaches are placed with the specific needs of
the age group in mind. They are chosen by the
Directors and have our complete confidence to
provide your athlete with the most qualified
staff available.

email and relayed by the Coach.
Both parents and players need to check their
emails and the club website DAILY

Overall team and individual success is highly
dependent on:
- player attendance
- parental support
- communication
It is our goal to have different programs that
will fit the level of commitment for each of our
Student-Athletes involved in Tampa Bay ONE.

All teams should anticipate practicing two to three times a week
depending on tournament schedule and team level.
All practices will be held at The Tampa Bay ONE Sports Center.
Teams will follow one of the schedules below:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday
Tuesday-Thursday-Friday
Monday-Wednesday-Sunday
Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday
While we don’t anticipate any changes in practice schedules with
the opening of our own facility we will do our best to get changes
out to you as soon as possible.

All tentative tournament schedules will be
determined prior to tryouts and posted online.
Team costs correlate directly to the travel needs
of that team.
Website will contain all hotel, playing, flight and
venue information for all teams and
tournaments.

All Tampa Bay One finances are open for public
view and posted on the website using a direct
cost allocation system.
All fee projections are set with a “highest
potential” in mind, based on estimated team
members, tournament fees, travel etc. Should
there be a surplus, funds will be divided equally
and distributed to all families on that team.

The following slides will show you a sample
budget for our teams. These budgets would be
for the highest level team in each age division
and we error on the expensive side.
playing, except player/parent travel.
