“Perhaps it is normal for all
SCHOLARSHIP FUND. The “Raymond Post Family Scholarship Fund” has
been established by (l to r) Raymond G. “Skipper” Post Jr. ’57 and his wife,
Bryan.
of us, as we grow older, to reflect
on important opportunities
which helped guide us to
successful lives. My mother
and father, Ernestine and
Raymond Post, instilled in me
the importance and obligation to
give back to others a small share
of what others have done to allow
me and my family to enjoy our
lives. To them, Catholic High
School was a critical part of the
process of growing up, and they
both contributed freely of their
time to assist the school in every
way.
“Bryan and I feel very
strongly about the importance of
Catholic High in establishing a
strong foundation of education
and discipline. My son Ray
and I both grew physically and
mentally under the guidance
of the Brothers of the Sacred
Heart. This scholarship will
help a worthy young man fulfill
an educational opportunity,
despite having limited financial
resources. We know that this will
continue to allow CHS to send
well-educated and responsible
citizens into our community in
the future, and three generations
of the Raymond Post family will
have helped in a small way,”
commented Post.
