Micro fine powder made of a polyurethane and silica, with 

particle size 10-15 microns. It is the softest and most 

elastic powder among the usual texturizers. It confers a 

velvety feel with soft-focus effect. It turns the texture from a 

standard to an excellent one. 

It has more elasticity than the traditional powders, and 

provides soft and virtual moisture feeling. They are 50 

times softer than nylon powder and 100 times softer than 

polymethyl methacrylate. Their truly spherical shape allows 

achieving fine spreadability and smoothness of the finished 

product and concealer ability to cover skin defect and 

pores.

The New European regulation has recently 

changed on parabens. Following discussion 

between European Commission and the 

States Members, the following points have 

been definitively adopted: the use of isopropyl, 

isobutyl, pentyl, phenyl and benzyl parabens 

and their salts is now forbidden. 

The use of methyl and ethyl parabens and their 

salts is maintained in a limit of 0.4% (acid) for 

ester. 

The use of propyl and butyl parabens and their 

salts is maintained in a limit of 0.19% (acid) 

alone or together. 

The use of mixtures of esters (methyl, ethyl, 

propyl and butyl) is maintained in a limited of 

0.8% (acid). 

So it is mandatory to find alternatives to them.

particles or from the chemical composition, 

you can see a high resolution image with a 3D 

perfection and consistency of the effect from

Lipolight OAP/PVA 

Optical brightening combining scattering with fluorescent 

light emission. The emitted light illuminates the shadows in 

the skin imperfection thereby giving the illusion that they do 

not exist. The unique optical effect is due to a combination 

of light emission (fluorescence) and scattering of visible 

light. The fluorescent compound incorporated into the 

polymer absorbs invisible light in the UV region and reemits 

that energy as diffused visible light. The emitted light 

illuminates the shadowed areas of wrinkles, enlarged pores 

and other skin imperfections, thus significantly reducing 

their appearance. The diffusion of the reflected incident 

visible light increases the total effect.

EFFECT 

Stinging has become a major issue in skin care 

safety assessment in Asia. 

The latest reports show that 30% of consumers 

appear to be sensitive to a stinging irritation 

from cosmetic products. 

Unlike irritation, stinging is defined in Japan as 

a slight sensory reaction of mild skin irritation. 

It does not involve the typical irritation symptoms, 

such as inflammation, redness, or pain, but is 

often described as an uncomfortable sensation 

or very light itch.
