Please use the wrist strap to help prevent injury to
other people or damage to surrounding objects or
the Wii Remote in case you accidentally let go of
the Wii Remote during game play.
Also remember the following:
• Make sure all players put on the wrist strap
properly when it is their turn.
• Do not let go of the Wii Remote during
game play.
• Dry your hands if they become moist.
• Allow adequate room around you during
game play and make sure that all areas
you might move into are clear of other
people and objects.
• Stay at least three feet from the television.
• Use the Wii Remote Jacket.
Your microphone must be plugged in at all times while playing
the game. Some multiplayer modes can only be played
when two microphones are connected. Choose Mic Volume
microphone. This controls the volume of the player’s voice.
Connecting your microphone to the Wii console is a snap.
1. Make sure the power is switched OFF
2. Attach your microphone’s USB connector to one of
the USB connections on the back of your Wii
3. Turn the power ON
Microphone Calibration
You can calibrate your microphone to adjust mic settings to
best suit your TV and how the game scores your singing. This
option will be available at the start of your very fi rst game, or
you can also select Game Setup in the Options menu and
follow the prompts. The microphone will need to reach the
TV’s speaker for microphone calibration, so be sure to set it up
close to the TV.
Note: Some LCD TVs can cause a delay to your voice being
heard. Try setting the display to GAME or equivalent setting
(refer to the manufacturer’s instructions). Alternatively, if the
echo effect is large, try setting the volume of the microphones
to zero in the Options menu.
SCORING
Match each note’s correct pitch and length to raise your
score. Watch the pitch bars on-screen to get feedback on
how you’re doing.
PITCH DETECTION
Disney Sing It: Family Hits has a sophisticated system to detect
a singer’s pitch—how high or low you’re singing. Watch the
wave as it moves across the pitch board to see how close
your voice is to the correct pitch.
As you improve your singing and get closer to the correct
pitch of each note of a song, your score goes up! In
multiplayer games, player 1 is always at the bottom of the
screen and player 2 is at the top.
HINTS & TIPS
• Singing a note well makes a Flair spark fl y out. Fill up the
Flair meter to boost your level. The higher the level, the
more points you earn for every note you sing.
• You get a score for every page of notes you sing. Sing
three “Great” pages in a row to win an “Awesome” page
and tons of points.
• The more you play, the more themes and awards you will
unlock.
• Go to the “Options” and select “Themes.” Select
unlocked themes to customize the look of your game.
Note: The game automatically saves your progress during play.
