that the FLIR ONE thermal imaging
accessory for smartphones will be
available for order online this week
The award-winning FLIR
ONE is a lightweight
accessory that transforms
an iPhone 5 or 5s into a
powerful thermal imager.
When paired with its
iPhone app, FLIR ONE
displays live infrared
imagery that allows the
user to see the world from
a thermal perspective.
FLIR ONE detects invisible
heat energy, giving
consumers the ability
to “see” and measure
minute variances in
temperature. FLIR ONE
enables a host of practical
solutions for consumers
-- from detecting energy
leaks at home to seeing
in complete darkness. For
the first time, FLIR ONE
brings powerful energy
saving and situational
awareness capabilities to
a smart phone platform.
Integrating FLIR’s groundbreaking
Lepton® thermal
imaging micro-camera
core plus a visible camera,
the FLIR ONE provides
FLIR’s patented MSX®
Technology that brings
sharp detail to the thermal
images.

to see at night, detect

photos or videos and
share them via text,
email, or social media
through the FLIR ONE
app, which is available
in the Apple App Store.
In addition, a variety of
artistic and functional
FLIR ONE supporting
apps are available in the
Apple App store that
allow users to take closeup
photos, time-lapse
video, panoramic photos,
and hybrid thermal plus
visible-light images.

Aéroports de Lyon for the supply,
integration and support of the new
airport operation control centre of
the “Lyon Saint-Exupéry” airport
The Airport Operation
Control Centre (AOCC)
which will equip the
airport, is designed to
meet the evolving needs
of modern airports like
“Lyon Saint-Exupéry”. The
AOCC is an innovative
and advanced integration
platform which combines
operations management
and security systems into
a seamless solution, thus
addressing the complexity
of managing complicated
airport environments.
Thanks to its innovative
process optimisation
solution, Thales’s modular
and scalable AOCC will
allow Aéroports de Lyon
to run airport operations
efficiently and effectively.
The solution integrates
a number of different
systems, an approach
which enhances global
situation awareness,
monitors key performance
indicators and facilitates
collaborative decision
making. As a result, the
AOCC can promptly
identify and manage
events and alarms thanks
to the integration of all
airport systems, including,
security, airport IT, airside
systems and technical
monitoring.
In concert with Aéroports
de Lyon’s expansion
plans for the airport, the
project is scheduled to be
completed in 2015 and the
new AOCC will manage
both the existing terminal
and the new one under
construction.
This new project confirms
Thales’s global airport
security expertise,

many major international
hubs including Dubai,
Doha, Durban and
Singapore.
