Both have high percentages of both renter and owner households, although Portage Park has a majority owners and Irving Park has more renter households. <strong>The</strong> housing stock in these two community areas is relatively low density. According to the estimates presented in Figure 11, 43.8% of the dwelling units in the Portage Park community are single-family units, and another 39.9% are in buildings with two-to four units. Some of the larger multifamily buildings in this Community Area are located near Six Corners. <strong>The</strong> Irving Park Community Area also has a sizable inventory of single family homes and two-flats, but a higher concentration of buildings with five or more units.
