REPORT OF THE SUPERVISORY BOARD<br />
The Supervisory Board recommends that the<br />
General Shareholders' Meeting adopt the annual<br />
financial statements as at 30 June <strong>2007</strong>. The<br />
Supervisory Board also agrees with management's<br />
proposal to transfer the net retained profits for the<br />
<strong>2006</strong>/<strong>2007</strong> financial year of A 4.592.026,83 to other<br />
revenue reserves. The Supervisory Board also<br />
recommends ratification (Entlastung) of the acts<br />
of the general partner, <strong>Borussia</strong> Dortmund<br />
Geschäftsführungs-GmbH, for the <strong>2006</strong>/<strong>2007</strong><br />
financial year.<br />
PERSONNEL MATTERS<br />
Patrick Albert Lynch, of London (Great Britain),<br />
resigned from the Supervisory Board effective 26<br />
February <strong>2007</strong>. In his place, Christian Kullmann,<br />
of Hamminkeln, was appointed to the Supervisory<br />
Board by virtue of an order applied for by the general<br />
partner and handed down by the Local Court<br />
(Amtsgericht) of Dortmund on 21 May <strong>2007</strong> in<br />
accordance with § 104 (2) AktG. The number of<br />
Supervisory Board members therefore meets the<br />
requirements of the Articles of Association.<br />
Pursuant to § 8 no. 3 sentence 6 of the Articles of<br />
Association, the next General Shareholders'<br />
Meeting will have to elect a new Supervisory Board<br />
member for the remainder of the departing member's<br />
term of office.<br />
The Executive Committee of the Advisory Board<br />
of <strong>Borussia</strong> Dortmund Geschäftsführungs-GmbH<br />
reached an agreement earlier than required with<br />
the managing director and chairman, Hans-<br />
Joachim Watzke, to extend his managing director's<br />
agreement (the term of which was originally limited<br />
until 31 December 2008) by a further three<br />
years, i.e. until 31 December 2011. The term of<br />
office of the other managing director, Thomas<br />
Treß, currently runs until the end of 2008.<br />
The Supervisory Board wishes to thank management<br />
and all the employees for their once again<br />
successful work over the past financial year and<br />
their exceptional efforts on behalf of the Company.<br />
Many thanks also to the business partners, shareholders<br />
and fans of <strong>Borussia</strong> Dortmund for the<br />
confidence they have shown in us.<br />
