NEW
MineBurner
The deflagration (burning out) of mines is a common practice and various pyrotechnical
systems are available today. These are usually classified as “Hazardous Goods” for shipping.
MineBurner has been fully developed as a reusable and highly sophisticated but easy to
use device to provide low cost mine/UXO deflagration. The MineBurner system and acces-
sories are air transport classified as non-hazardous. MineBurner eliminates the problem of
storage and transport of explosives. It works like a cutting torch but uses regular LPG
(cooking gas). LPG and bottled oxygen are usually available locally.
MineBurner can be used optionally to deflagrate or high order detonate ERW (Explosive
Remnants of War) like mines and UXO, depending upon application and type.
Features
Article No.: 048000
- More flexibility:
MineBurner can be used to render safe mines and UXO
in situations, when found in sensitive locations.
- More safety:
MineBurner uses a ultra-safe wireless remote control firing system with
up to 1 km range. No line-of-sight required.
- Reduced costs:
Using MineBurner the disposal costs can be reduced significantly.
- Reduced working time:
A MineBurner system can consist of up to 10 field modules enabling
10 targets to be burnt simultaneously for more efficiency.
- No self-contamination:
The self-contamination problem caused by the traditional method of
detonating ERW using explosive charges is eliminated.
Light-Weight Fragment Protection
Suit LPS-380 & LPS-475
Article No.: 100119 Article No.: 100129
The light-weight fragment protection suit was especially
developed for applications such as
• Preventive Searches
• K9 operations
• Crime Scene Searches
• Tactical Operations of Special Forces
Operations in which immediate operational readiness,
flexibility and mobility count.
The LPS protects the wearer highly effectively against
• fragments
• cutting injuries
• explosion impacts
• heat and flame impacts
In order to encounter various threat scenarios the suit is offered in
two protection levels: 380m/s and 475m/s (1,1g FSP [17gr. FSP] acc. to
STANAG 2920 resp. MIL-STD-662F). In addition the LPS-475 can be
up-armoured to a level of protection of
1,200m/s on the front and the rear by the
means of large scale additional plates.
Thus a comprehensive 360 degree protection
of the vital areas can be reached.
The LPS can be combined with:
SECURITY
Tactical Protective Ensemble
TSS-475 & TSS-560
Article No.: 100149 Article No.: 100159
The Tactical Protective Ensemble TSS was especially developed to provide a
fast, uncomplicated and safe additional protection for arms and legs of Special
Operation Forces.
The TSS is designed for situations where a rapid upgrade
to a full-body-protection is required e.g. when a
suspicious device is found during an intervention operation,
hindering the safe continuation. In such situations
the TSS can easily be combined with the body armour
the person already wears.
Two standard levels of protection are available. The
basic configuration (TSS-475) of the TSS offers
light-weight fragment protection. The advanced
configuration (TSS-560) of the ensemble offers both
fragment and bullet protection.
BODY PROTECTION
Intervention Protective Suit
SSA-1 ®
The SSA-1 was developed in order to offer the suit-wearing policeofficer
the highest level of protection while still allowing him a targetoriented
and mobile intervention.
Especially in situations in which the wearer is faced with the threat of
nearby ignitions and detonations of hand-grenades, the SSA-1 provides
maximum protection not only against fragments, detonation, pressure,
burns and acid burns but also against bullets. All this while still offering
an outstanding wearing comfort for a safe use in operation.
In order to allow easy body movement the ballistic panels are overlapping
and in this way preventing ballistic gaps. The suit components
can be adjusted easily by variable straps and velcro fasteners. Attached
