A student who has successfully completed this qualification will be able to teach from Reception Year to Grade 3. Teaching Practice is a compulsory component in 

this programme and must be taken according to specific criteria. Foreign students or students intending studying outside South Africa must do Teaching Practice in 

South African schools so that they are visited, observed and supported by assigned UNISA academic staff. A Declaration Form (DSAR05) is available from UNISA Admissions 

and Registrations to be completed for this purpose. If the Declaration Form is not completed and signed, the student may not be admitted and/ or registered.
