Viviana ANDREESCU, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Justice

Administration at the University of Louisville, USA. Her recent research focused on

social justice issues (related to social and cultural minorities, such as Appalachians,

ethnic and racial minorities, immigrants, and sexual minorities) and cross-national

comparisons of victimization, fear of crime, and public attitudes toward the police.

life.
