2009–2013 PhD Student, Ecole Centrale Paris, France.
My PhD was supported in part by Cap Digital, the French business cluster for digital content
and services. Under this project, namely Sebastian2, I collaborated with our project partners to
develop:
A business application providing a shared working space for creative multimedia
projects.
Image segmentation using possibilistic fuzzy clustering algorithms.
Pattern recognition using artificial neural netwroks.
Image mining and knowledge discovery in large scale image databases.
Research Interest
• Multimedia information retrieval, Social media processing.
• Context-based and knowledge-driven approaches for image annotation.
• Knowledge engineering, ontology, description logics, fuzzy logics, and ontologicalreasoning.
