My PhD was supported in part by Cap Digital, the French business cluster for digital content
and services. Under this project, namely Sebastian2, I collaborated with our project partners to
develop:
A business application providing a shared working space for creative multimedia
projects.
Sebastian Image Finder: a software for scalable multimedia indexing and retrieval.
Sebastian Image Annotator: a semantic-based software for image annotation and retrieval.
The proposed software incorporates efficient image feature descriptors and
machine learning for associating text to previously unseen images.
