Certificate <strong>of</strong> Occupancy<br />
A Certificate <strong>of</strong> Occupancy will be issued for exist<strong>in</strong>g build<strong>in</strong>gs and upon completion <strong>of</strong><br />
newly constructed build<strong>in</strong>gs. This certificate is obta<strong>in</strong>ed through the Build<strong>in</strong>g Services<br />
Division. The certificate is pro<strong>of</strong> that the build<strong>in</strong>g use and occupancy is <strong>in</strong> compliance<br />
with all applicable zon<strong>in</strong>g and land use ord<strong>in</strong>ances, as well as the structural and fire-lifesafety<br />
codes <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Deltona</strong>. Each time there is a tenant change, or a change <strong>in</strong><br />
the type <strong>of</strong> occupancy, a new Certificate <strong>of</strong> Occupancy must be obta<strong>in</strong>ed.<br />
