What will be your story?

"The program is so easy! In our first

year participating in Birdies for Charity,

we raised more than $11,000, plus we

earned an additional $2,500 bonus!

The funds we raised are going to help

provide our students with the updated

software and the resource materials

needed so each student may continue

to improve academically and socially.”

WHAT IS BIRDIES FOR CHARITY?

ENDORSED BY

A birdie is a score of one stroke

better than par for any golf hole.

PGA TOUR professionals are

anticipated to make an average of 1,500 - 2,000 birdies,

Wednesday – Sunday of the Travelers Championship. In Birdies

for Charity, you can turn all those birdies into money for your

501(c)(3)!

All participating nonprofits simply solicit pledges based on the

number of birdies made. Pledges can be as low as one penny!

PARTICIPATING IS EASY!

All 501(c)(3) organizations in Connecticut are eligible.

Register with the Travelers Championship and we’ll provide

the materials and information you need to get started.

Solicit pledges – ask donors, sponsors and friends!

Entice your donors with great prizes! All those making pledges

will be entered to win great prizes provided by the tournament.

Encourage your donors to make online pledges at

www.TravelersChampionship.com.

Submit all pledge forms to the Travelers Championship by

Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.

Following the Travelers Championship, the tournament will

total the birdies made, calculate your donation and send

an invoice directly to your donors.

In the fall of 2009, the Travelers Championship will give you

a check for 100% of pledges received. It’s that easy!

For more information, please contact Caitlin Champ at

birdies@travelerschampionship.com or 860-502-6804.
