1. Attend proposal

1. Attend proposal development sessions 2. Meet with CCM and proposal development committees 3. Develop HIV and AIDS component of the draft proposals according to GF rules and procedures 4. Develop the HIV and AIDS component of the final proposals for submission to GF Expected outputs 1. HIV and AIDS component of round 8 proposals fully developed and incorporated into the final common country proposal. Timeframe and Duration: Timeframe is based on the proposal writing schedule set by the CCM Nigeria. The total duration will not exceed 30 working days from May 29 th to July 1 st 2008. Qualifications or specialized knowledge/experience required ­ Minimum academic qualification of Master degree ­ At least 5 years of working experience in general ­ Experience in proposal development programmes including HIV and AIDS. ­ Strong Experience of HIV/AIDS response in Nigeria ­ Knowledge of Global Fund proposals development and grants implementation. ­ Strong communications especially analytical and writing skills. ­ Proficiency in English 8 – Competencies: ­ Evidence of ability to think strategically and solve problems; ­ Able to take initiative to deliver required outputs and planned results within specified timeframe and under pressure; ­ Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Internet (basic HTML). ­ Excellent communication and relationship skills including ability to work as a team ­ Ability to communicate well in English 10 – Remuneration: This will be based on qualification and experience, and will follow UNDP standard remuneration guidelines.
