The University Club in San Francisco

December is a very hectic time of year…

If the Club can either relieve some stress or

assistant in making life simpler for you during

this busy holiday season, we would welcome

the opportunity to help.

One of the ways we can help would be to take

some of the simplest things off your plate or to

do list. Please avail yourself of our concierge

staff, and take advantage of the many services

they offer. Pat, Daniel and Peggy would be

happy to assist in procuring show tickets for

you, assisting with restaurant reservations, or

helping with gift wrapping.

Speaking of gifts, we make corporate gift

giving easy. Last year we filled over one

hundred orders of holiday tins filled with

treats that come elegantly packaged from the

Club. This year we will have tins of homemade

truffles, caramels, and other holiday delicacies.

Pat will have samples for your consideration

at the front desk. You can place an order with

her and we will take care of the wrapping and

the mailing.

Of course, the ultimate help they can provide

is to arrange for your out of town guests to

stay at our Club. Thus preserving the sanity

of everyone involved; because as we all know,

“Both fish and house guest…” well you know

the rest of the sentence.

The Club is a great place to entertain for the

holidays, both in our private dining rooms and

in our restaurants.

Chef Håkan’s meals and buffets are beautifully

presented and of course, pleasing to the

palette as well.

Speaking of entertainment, the Club

offers many opportunities to celebrate

the holidays. Join us for one of our special

holiday events right here at the Club.

These events include our annual Santa Brunch

and Christmas Day Buffet.

Most importantly, remember to make personal

time for yourself. This is the greatest way to

relieve stress during the holidays. That means

continuing your regular workout routine,

indulging in a spa service (massage or facial),

and of course, the best medicine of all, relaxing

around your friends.

Our professional purpose at the Club as staff

is to ultimately help make our members lives

easier and simpler whenever we can. Our

Clubhouse provides many ways to help. We

can be a one stop shop for holiday season

stress relief. Please take advantage of some of

the ways we can help.

An update and friendly reminder about our

Pub. The Pub has been open for more than a

year now, in its current incarnation, and every

month it gets better and better. We are now

regularly busy for happy hour and a casual

dinner. Chef Håkan’s menu selections are well

received. If you have not been in for a while,

please come join us. I am confident you will

be impressed with the improvements. Enjoy!

Take advantage of our Reciprocal Clubs for your Holiday Travel!

During business or personal travel, our members can experience

the same exceptional accommodations and service at each of the

Minneapolis Club’s reciprocal clubs.

With over 70 clubs, in more than 20 states and 10 countries, offering

overnight accommodations, fine dining and fitness facilities, members

will feel at home wherever they are.

Our premier reciprocal venues were carefully selected for their quality

of food and beverage service, overnight accommodations, and fitness

facilities. Prior to using any of these fine clubs, members must simply

request a letter of introduction from our Front Desk.

Check out the “Services & Facilities” section of our website for an

interactive map and complete list of these Reciprocal Clubs.

What Members are saying about Serenity Spa:

My experience with Molly:

Attention to specific facial treatments is essential. Molly was perfect in her evaluation

and care. Included was a soothing massage of head, hands and feet. She is the most

thorough esthetician that I have experienced in the 40 years that I have had them.

I look forward to many more appointments with Molly.
