KFELS N CLASS JACKUP<br />
Shortly after the celebration<br />
of one million manhours<br />
without lost time incident on<br />
the construction of SKDP 3<br />
in November 2009, the<br />
teams from Skeie Drilling<br />
& Production (Skeie)<br />
and <strong>Keppel</strong> FELS cheered<br />
to yet another milestone<br />
achievement.<br />
On 18 December 2009,<br />
the keel was laid for the<br />
last of the trio of KFELS N<br />
Class jackup drilling rigs<br />
being built by <strong>Keppel</strong> FELS<br />
for Skeie. Construction of all<br />

three rigs continues to be<br />

KFELS SSDT TM<br />
Following the finalisation<br />
of the contract to<br />
build Vietnam’s first<br />
semisubmersible drilling<br />
tender for PetroVietnam<br />
Drilling and Well Services<br />
<strong>Corporation</strong>, <strong>Keppel</strong> FELS<br />
has struck first steel for the<br />
rig on 22 January <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
Targeted for delivery in the<br />
fourth quarter of 2011, this<br />
tender assist rig will be built<br />
to <strong>Keppel</strong>’s award-winning<br />
KFELS SSDT TM 3600E design.<br />
