WILDFIRE – A <strong>SALEWA</strong> Footwear Workshop Innovation<br />
A new generation in alpine footwear has been launched by the footwear division of the South Tyrol mountain<br />
sport specialist, once more emphasising its reputation as the „Approach Company“. Its lightweight, anatomical<br />
fit, and an aggressive outsole tread design make the WILDFIRE the perfect companion in technical approaches.<br />
MFF has become MFF+, establishing a new standard in anatomical footwear with its 3D footbeds<br />
– completely adjustable in volume including the width of the footwear.<br />
Alpine competence all the way down to the tips of the toes – that’s the product promise from SALE-<br />
WA. For the last seven years the footwear division of the South Tyrol mountain sport specialist in Italy has<br />
stood for innovative solutions in the alpine footwear market. While the <strong>SALEWA</strong> footwear maker working<br />
out of its competence center in northeast Italy’s Montebelluna region has been defining new standards<br />

performance. The WILDFIRE can be worn easily by mountain athletes in quick approaches to the wall with<br />
its sturdy fit and maximal feel for the ground – inspired by the precise fit of climbing shoes. The new Vibram®<br />
Tech Approach Evo outsole is an exclusive design by <strong>SALEWA</strong> and provides optimal support and grip on technically<br />
