General Project Information
‣Initial situation:
Seasonal fluctuation (between 14 and 20 barg) in gas delivery to major consumers especially
in summertime was causing significant production losses for OMV Petrom, due to the pressure
increase in the National Transport System.
‣ Project Objective:
The new Hurezani Gas Delivery System will ensure OMV Petrom to deliver gas continuously to
National Transport System with a constant pressure of 40barg.

Project Key Data
•Project Configuration:
‣Three (3) identical Compressor trains consisting of one (1) Solar Gas Turbines, 7MW each
(Taurus 70) with Solar Centrifugal Compressors C50. Two trains being in operation and the
third one in stand-by.
‣Each train comprises an inlet filter scrubber, a centrifugal compressor driven by a gas turbine
of 7 MW power and a gas cooler. In addition, one finger type slug catcher, LP & HP fuel gas
skids, an open & closed drain system, a flare system, instrument air & Nitrogen gas
generation, emergency diesel generation, well water treatment, fire fighting system and
control & emergency shutdown system (ESD & DCS) are provided.
