Mrs. Marsha Jones
It is hard to believe that half of the school year has
been completed! There is much to be accomplished
this second semester, and with your help and support
it promises to be a year of “finishing strong” at
Lost Creek.
Students in grades 3-5 will begin taking the first
portion of ISTEP+ beginning on February 28 th . It is
essential that students have the best circumstances
to do well, including a good night’s sleep and breakfast.
During that time, as it is each and every day
for all students, it is important that they be in attendance
and on time, so that they do not miss crucial
instruction and assessment (unless they are ill of
course). Please try to schedule doctor and dentist
appointments around the testing days of February
28- March 8, and again when they will be taking the
second assessment, April 25-May 10.
As you have heard in the media, the stakes have
never been higher. However, we do not want children
to be nervous or scared. They are prepared,
and by focusing to do their best they will demonstrate
the gains that they have made this school
year. Results from standardized testing are used to
evaluate the school and to design lessons that can
address those skills which are indicated as areas of
student need. We want to partner with you to help
your child feel confident, well-prepared, and ready to
succeed on these important tests.
LOST CREEK HEALTH ROOM
The Lost Creek Health Room is in desperate need of
winter clothes, especially sweatpants. Please call the
office or email Janie Pruitt, if you can donate.
FALL FESTIVAL 2010 = SUCCESS!
This thank you is long overdue to all of the wonderful
volunteers we had for Fall Festival 2010. This night
would not come together and be so successful without
all of Lost Creek’s awesome parents, staff, & students.
We are lucky to have so many people involved with our
school whether giving their time or donations.
I would like to give a big thank you to Rebecca Doti,
Gayla McCreery, & Kim Egger for making our raffle
baskets the best I have ever seen. I would like to
thank Sara Fischer & Tracey Harris for doing the
Candy Bar/Book Walk and the Sucker Tree/Fill-a-jar
and providing the kids with so much fun. Our meals
couldn’t have been as successful as they were without
the great help of Paula Vaughn, our cafeteria manager,
& Suzi Unger. We had an awesome Pumpkin
Decorating Contest thanks to Jennifer Kelly and all of
the students and parents who participated. Thank you
to Angie Balitewicz who had the big job of keeping the
game room up and running. And a big thank you to
Renee Marietta who managed to keep our prize room
very organized. I give a huge THANK YOU to all of
the teachers, secretaries, & custodial staff who worked
very hard to make our evening a success. I would especially
like to thank Amy Demchak, Tanya Smith,
and Mrs. Marsha Jones for working so hard the duration
of the evening. I know I am leaving so many out,
but I am truly grateful to each and every one of you for
helping with the Fall Festival.
Cathy Effner, PTO Vice-President
PLEASE VOLUNTEER
We are looking for more volunteers to shelve library
books. Lost Creek has the highest number of books
checked out than any other school in Vigo County.
By February 1 st , our students had checked out
42,379 books, magazines, and math kits. It would be
great to have a few more helpers!
A big thank you goes to Sara Sutton, Diana Smith,
Dana Morlan, Jennifer Kellett, Mikki Jones, Jennifer
Kelly, and Christel Walker who have made a big
difference in our students’ lives by making sure that
they have books on the shelves to check out.
If you would like to volunteer for one or two hours
once a week, please contact library media specialist,
Physical Education is the fitness place to be! The
Haunted Gym Obstacle Course had 76 pieces of equipment.
At the end of class time the children did not
want to leave the gym and they were hot, sweaty, and
tired. The Winter Wonderland included the favorite
Santa Slide, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowball
rolling, reindeer bowl, snowball throw, and roly poly!
After Christmas break we began the 3rd, 4th, and 5th
grade floor hockey unit, and 1st and 2nd graders the
primary action unit. In hockey, each class is divided
into two teams, the Terminators verses the
Predators. The students rotate to all the
positions, keep their hockey stick to the
floor, and love the game. The 1st and 2nd
graders primary action unit includes, juggling,
hula hoops, and frisbee throw. With the opening
and closing run, each class has improved in leg speed,
endurance, and recovery. The children love to run and
moan if they do not have enough time to do the closing
run which is a good sign!
On January 3rd I was assigned by Indiana State University
a new student teacher. Her name is Sarah
Stump (Miss S.) She is from the Indianapolis area and
played seven different sports in High School. Her favorite
was swimming which she specialized in the
breast stroke for four years. What a pleasant addition
she is to our program!
I am proud of all my students at Lost Creek. I love your
kids!
WLCN
Students have started to broadcast the news again
on Friday mornings. The Vigo County
Education Foundation awarded Mrs.
Diehl, Ms. Fendrick, and Ms. Wells a
grant to purchase additional headsets
and microphones. The VCEF originally
awarded Lost Creek a schoolwide
grant to purchase the equipment.
Classes take turns preparing the news and serving
as news anchors. The fifth grade classes will be first
and then move to fourth grade.
The WLCN Team operates the equipment, and they
take turns being camera operators, floor managers,
computer operators, and more.
Team members are:
Bitzegaio: Myia Lambert, Gavin Brown
Ellis: Cameron Cox, Ashley Padgett
Fendrick: Marti Fennell, Halie Keith
Frisz: Tayler Sams, Logan Richards
Laubert: Tom Ahmed, Michael Deckard
Diehl: Devin Benedict, Aubree Nasser
Gauer: Ben Johnson, Maddie Hunt
Greulach: Braden Edington, Roman Harpole
Thompson: Eric Scott, Saige Harper
Kindergarten
The children in Mrs. Casey’s classroom enjoyed a fun
100 Day of School with so many counting activities.
The children counted to 100 by fives, tens, and ones!!
The best part of our day was sharing 100 items with our
classmates. We learned how easy it is to eat 100
things; Mrs. Casey confessed she can easily eat 100
M&M’s!
Mrs. Casey and her students were
honored to have Firefighter Berry
speak with the children regarding “Fire
Safety”. The children learned many
important ways to stay safe. Mr.
Berry’s son, Cole, is in Kindergarten
and was very happy to have his Dad
speak to his classmates.
The A.M. Kindergarten children recently partnered
with Mrs. Laubert’s classroom in the computer room.
The fourth and fifth grade students will assist the
younger children in the lab with many important computer
skills. The afternoon children are partnering
with Mrs. Greulach and Mrs. Thompson’s class. We are
very excited and appreciate the students helping us
learn new things.
First Grade
Mrs. Bilyeu’s class: Our class has been working
hard to squeeze everything in between delays and
snow days! We started off the New Year by writing
resolutions and setting goals for the year! Staying in
touch with our pen-pals at Riley Elementary School
is fun and we are looking forward to the opportunity
to meet them at the end of the year! Thanks to everyone
who sent in items for our "care" package delivered
to a soldier who is a very close family friend of
Mrs. Bilyeu's. Troy is serving in Afghanistan until
December. We discussed the importance of trying
help the soldiers, families, and friends who are dealing
with loved ones serving our country in very dangerous
territory. We are so fortunate!
Topics and themes we have been learning about include:
the Solar System; long vowel words; past and
present tense verbs; contractions; MLK, Jr. Day;
Groundhog's Day; Valentine's Day; place value; basic
addition facts; number scrolls; measurement; and a
lot of fun, new math games to help with basic math
skills practice!
We celebrated the "100th" day of school on January
27th and look forward to our remaining days of
learning until the end of the year! We are also looking
forward to Spring weather and fresh air!
Mrs. Plasse’s class is loving being back at school!
The five snow days were fun, but we were ready to
get back to learning. Here is what we missed…
Dylan missed math. He likes addition.
Molly missed PE. She likes to run.
Ryley missed doing math. She likes using the dominoes.
Jazzy missed spelling. She likes to learn new
words.
Nicole missed spelling too. She likes to write her
words.
Joey missed Mrs. Plasse. He likes to do math with
his teacher.
Reagan missed PE and Reading Counts. He likes to
race and take quizzes.
about the solar system.
Ellie missed PE. She likes to race.
Evan missed reading planet books.
Kenzie missed racing in gym and math. She likes to
add numbers.
Skyler missed doing calendar. He likes to count the
money in our graph.
Maci missed doing the hula hoop in PE. And she
likes to take Reading Counts quizzes.
Nolan missed being first in the races in PE. He
missed reading from our animal tub of books.
Griffin missed reading Green Eggs and Ham by Dr.
Seuss.
Curtis missed building with Lego’s at recess.
Nathaniel missed building with blocks.
Mrs. Plasse missed learning with all her little
darlings!
Mrs. Ralston's class began their unit on famous Black
Americans by starting the American Girl “Addy” books.
They enjoy reading about this young
girl who overcame slavery, learned to
read and write, and reunited her
family.
February is a busy month and the students
are eager to start learning about
the solar system, dental health, and
the groundhog! Our groundhog predictions
needed to be made at home this year due to our
snow days! Hopefully, Punxsutawney Phil was right
that we will be having an early spring. We're ready to
hit the Pride Path again.
Second Grade
Mrs. All’s class has been very busy this year. We
would like to welcome Mr. Skinner to our classroom.
He will be student teaching in our room until February
25th. He has already taught us many interesting
things this year. We especially liked studying about
fossils and measuring our arm spans in math.
We would like to thank Ms. Wells for helping us make
autobiography books in the computer lab. We drew pictures
on the computer and took pictures with the digital
camera. It was a lot of fun making the books. They will
be on display sometime in March at the Literacy Fair.
We would like to congratulate Will Egger, Chloe
Loughmiller, Matt Gauer, and Rylee Pender for
being our “Student of the Month” winners for
November, December, January and February. We are
very proud of them.
Our class is looking forward to Second Grade Family
Game Night on Tuesday, February 22nd. We will receive
a bag full of language and math games. We hope
everyone can come.
We are also looking forward to our next field trip on
Thursday, March 24th to the Allen Memorial Planetarium.
Our class will learn about the moon, stars, and
sun. This is always an enjoyable experience.
We would like to wish birthday greetings to Allison
Cloutier, Trenton Tuberosa, Lauryn Smith, Chloe
Loughmiller, Matt Gauer, Taylor Foxworthy,
Skyelee English, Nathan Gauer and Bradyn
Bower.
Our class continues to read many Reading Counts
books. We also do a lot of writing and math each day.
We really enjoy reading our weekend writing stories to
each other. We are looking forward to an early spring
and hope it will be here soon.
Mrs. Bartley’s class would like to welcome our student
teacher from ISU, Miss Angie Lampe. She will be
with us through February and will then go to Mrs.
Laubert’s 4/5 class. We are very busy
with our Book Bagging and are enjoying
having new books for the second half of
the year! We also take home our reading
books often as we know that practice
makes perfect. Everyday Math is exciting. We have
been measuring jumps and our arm spans and learning
how to find the median number of them. We like how
our book keeps reviewing, or spiraling, so we don’t forget
all of the things we’ve already learned. We love doing
Mountain Language, Mountain Math, Making
Words, Scholastic Reading Counts Quizzes, Daily
Words, centers and many other things during our I/E
time!
3

Mrs. Bartley’s class (continued)
Our unit in social studies is history. We are learning
why we became a country as well as how. Also how
our government was set up and that George Washington
was elected the first President of the United
States, but not until 1789! Soon we will be learning
about Groundhog’s Day (we need to watch the
weather forecast), and President’s Day. Valentine’s
Day will be a lot of fun celebrating our friendships
with our classmates! We are looking forward to
Family Game night on Tuesday, February 22, from
6:30-7:30! We wish you all a safe, healthy, happy,
successful, and prosperous 2011!
Miss Buck's second graders have been busy in
Math. We have been learning how to add 2 and 3
digit numbers using the partial sums method. We
have been working on 2 digit subtraction with regrouping.
We have also been working hard to learn
our addition and subtraction facts.
We wrote winter paragraphs for our bulletin board.
We will be studying about the phases of the moon in
March. We are also planning an activity trip to the
Planetarium in late March. We are looking
forward to the Family Game Night
that second grades will be having on February
22. Each student will receive a
packet of language and math games. The students
and their parents will be able to spend some time
that evening playing the games and then get to take
the games and materials home with them.
Congratulations to Miss Buck's “Students of the
Month” for December, January, and February.
Samantha Lyon was our student of the month for
December for the character trait of Compassion.
Levi Greiner was our January student of the
month for the character trait of Initiative. And
Grant Bolen was chosen as our student of the
month for February for Responsibility. We are very
proud of Samantha, Levi, and Grant.
Mackenzie Delaise celebrated her birthday on
January 24. Students who will be celebrating birthdays
in March will be Taylor Miller, Hailee
Reece, and Grant Bolen.
In Ms. Cottom’s 2/3 class, we aren’t letting the cold
and winter blast of snow stop us! We are keeping
warm reading great books like Cricket in Times
Square. We are working with Mrs. Laubert's class to
complete our “Hall of Presidents”. It is
really impressive. We hope you can
come see it. We are working hard with
multiplication and will soon have them
mastered. Our goal is to know all facts
through the twelves and then we will
celebrate with a banana split! Yum!
We are also taking turns filling an estimation
jar. We put objects numbering from 100 –
500 in our traveling jar. Then as a class, we estimate
to see who can guess the correct number. We
also find the range, median, mode, maximum and
minimum numbers of this group. We welcome our
student teacher from ISU, Mr. Phillips, to our room.
He is a history buff and is teaching us a lot about
maps and geography. On Friday, January 28, our
whole class supported the “HAT” day. We donated
$20.00 to the school fund to provide needed money
for the Salvation Army and Light House Mission.
We had fun choosing our most unusual and unique
hats while helping others at the same time.
Third Grade
Mrs. Hall's 3rd grade class has been very busy, the
past several weeks.
In social studies, we have studied a lot about African-
Americans such as Dr. Martin L. King Jr., Harriett
Tubman, Booker T. Washington, Gwendolyn Brooks,
Edward “Duke’ Ellington, Kwanzaa, and The Underground
Railroad. We have also learned the four oceans
and seven continents of the world. In science, we
learned all about sound, science in our lives
(knowledge of inventions, ways people use technology,
how tools make our lives easier, and computers and
how they have changed our lives), and all about wind
and water energy. In language, we have studied about
action verbs, present and past-tense verbs, using quotation
marks, and verb-agreement. In writing, we
have been working with “6 trait writing” and writing
friendly letters.
We have been reading many stories such as:
One Riddle, One Answer, Lost in the Snow,
Reindeer Do Wear Striped Underwear, What
do Illustrators Do?, Cook-A-Doodle-Do, and
Here’s My Dollar.
We also have increased in class size. We’d like to welcome
to our class Taylor Barrow, Calysa Todd, and
Sydney Shafer.
Student Characters of the Month: Sept.-Sydnee
Cooper, Oct.-Sierra Grotewold, Nov.-Mayson
Trierweiler, and Dec.-Gabby Bonilla. We are so
very proud of these boys and girls.
Mrs. Runyan’s 3rd grade class has been working
very hard. We are continuing to work on multiplication
and division. Each day we practice our facts so we
can get better. We started taking multiplication time
tests. Each student is working at their pace.
In science we are getting ready to start our solar system
unit. Each student will research a planet of their
choice. The students will then work on a project for
that planet. The projects will be displayed at school.
Congratulations to Macee Kuhn, Jessica Terrell,
and Ben Jaeger. Macee was the mayor character
award winner for December (Compassion), Jessica for
January (Initiative), and Ben for February
(Responsibility).
READING CHALLENGE: The student with the most
Reading Counts points at the end of the month is the
winner. They get to pick out a book from a Scholastic
book order. Tayler Atkinson and Zach Bahus will be
receiving a free book from Scholastic. They were the
Reading Challenge winners for November, December,
and January. Tayler received two free books since she
was the winner in November and December.
Thanks for reading our article! Ms. Cottom’s second
grade students: Olivia, Casey, Kassidy, Rachel,
Shelby, Elijah, Sylvie, Noam, and Nathaniel.
4

Fourth Grade
Mrs. Gauer’s 4th grade class has been busy this
winter! Students are having fun and working hard.
We completed a geography unit and each student
made a map of his/her route from home
to school. Included in the maps are
important landmarks, geographical
coordinates, a compass rose, and a map
key. Many of the maps turned out
fabulous! There were some very creative ideas and
time and effort put into this project. Students had a
great experience learning more about their surroundings.
We have had many wonderful student role-models in
our class that have received character awards. Recently,
Steven Jenkins was nominated for initiative
and Ben Johnson was nominated for responsibility.
Congratulations to both of them for making
good choices and setting an example for their peers.
We are continuing to work hard through these cold
winter months. We will be doing a biography book
report at the beginning of March. For this book report,
students will dress up as their person and present
their “character” to the class. Additionally, we
are constantly reading to achieve our reading counts
goal of 25 points per quarter. Students continue to
improve on their multiplication and division facts.
We have been using the “FlashMaster” (an electronic
math fact game) and taking timed fact quizzes in
order to keep improving. Students have also enjoyed
playing Everyday Math games on the computer and
in the classroom to practice important math concepts
that we are learning.
We look forward to a bright and warm spring so that
we can get outside again! We are anxious to start
exercising on the PRIDE PATH again and get some
of that extra energy out!
Mrs. Greulach’s fourth graders can't believe how
fast the year is going. We had a lot of items that
went to the Terre Haute Humane Shelter for Christmas.
We welcome to our school and class, Roman
Harpole. He comes to us from Meadows. He adds a
nice compliment to our class. We also welcome back,
Zoeya Combs. She left earlier but has returned to
Lost Creek.
We have been reading aloud the book NUMBER
THE STARS in class. This book goes along with
what we have been studying in Social Studies. We
are doing pretty well with our multiplication facts
timed tests. We find it challenging at times.
Congratulations to Kierra Crabb
and Raelee Crouch for being our
winners in the class Spelling Bee!
We welcome spring to the air real soon.
Mrs. Thompson’s class is hoping for a break in the
weather. We want to get outside for recess! When I
mentioned our 100 th day, most of the class was surprised
our school days have passed so quickly. Lots
of learning has taken place and lots more to come.
Good character continues to flow from our class.
Congratulations to Karlie Kellett (Compassion),
Macenzea Cheesman (Initiative), and Todd Jordan
(Responsibility). The other 21 students aren’t
too bad either!
Olivia Welch and Eric Scott will represent our class
in the 4/5 grade Spelling Bee. We wish them Good
Luck!
We look forward to the following February activities:
our field trip to see Doctor Kabob, school Book Fair,
and our visit from the Dental Health Team. I-STEP is
coming up the last week of February. We’ll be ready!
Mrs. Laubert’s 4/5 Class
Happy New Year! 2011 has gotten off to a busy start.
We began the year working on two different projects –
GeoIndiana and Hall of Presidents. The GeoIndiana
project helped us learn about our state.
Among the many things we discovered during
our research was information about our
government, famous Hoosiers, important cities,
state parks, rivers, roadways, and even
famous Indian tribes that once lived here.
Our Hall of Presidents project was a joint effort with
Ms. Cottom’s 2/3 class. Each student, along with Mrs.
Laubert and Ms. Cottom, researched one of the United
State’s presidents and compiled all of sorts of interesting
and important information for an oral presentation.
We even constructed a life-size display of each
president which is located near the Lost Creek main
office. If you’re in our school visiting during the month
of February ~ come and check it out! On January 18 th
our class competed in the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl.
The 100-question team competition tested our knowledge
in a variety of areas such as social sciences, literature,
math, geography, current events, and sports.
Other 5 th grade classrooms from the “corn belt” region
of the United States also competed. In addition to our
projects and quiz competition we managed to read
some terrific literature! Mrs. Laubert read us the latest
Jerry Spinelli book Smiles to Go! and the 1977
Newbery winner Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred
D. Taylor. We really enjoyed both books! We
would like to welcome our student teacher, Miss Angie
Lampe, from Indiana State University. She has been
working with Mrs. Bartley’s 2 nd grade class and will
join us on February 28 th .
As you can see, we began 2011 with superfluous vim
and vigor, and we don’t plan on slowing down… it’s
going to be a fantastic year!
Fifth Grade
Some of Mr. Bitzegaio’s fifth grade students submitted
articles of their very own!
Roaring Readers
By Anna Hutchison
I am in Roaring Readers! It is so fun. We have been
reading really cool books. Here are the books: Into the
Firestorm, Wringer, and the one we are reading now is
Becoming Naomi Leon. I have to say my favorite book
we have read is Becoming Naomi Leon. We have six
people in our club. There is another Anna in our club.
When the leader of our club, Mrs. Ellis, calls on us we
get confused. If I were any of the 5th graders reading
this, I would join the Roaring Readers book club. That
is what I love about Roaring Readers.
Click Photograph Club
By Cody Stevens
I think the Click photograph club was really fun. We
had partners to help each other if we were confused.
My favorite part was editing the pictures. We took
pictures of cool, funny, and weird things. t was cool
that C. J. and I got to do our media fair project together.
I wish it could have lasted longer, though.
You can see the pictures that Click took in the display
cases outside the library. I hope you can be a
part of Click, too. You will have a lot of fun if you do!
Indiana Rocks
By Gavin Brown
The Indiana Rocks is a fun club that tries to teach
you about the dangers of drugs. In a child’s life, ages
10 – 12 are the most likely to try drugs. T here is
food, games, and friends with only 4th and 5th graders
eligible. It’s all free, too!
Mathletes
By Nathan Foxworthy
I am a member of the Mathletes. On Saturday, February
5, the Mathletes will be competing at Honey
Creek Middle School. The contest begins at 8:15 and
should end at 10:45. The awards will be presented
in the gymnasium around 11:00. So please wish us
luck!
Mentos Geyser
By Nick Burnett
Mr. B’s 5th grade class set off a
soda geyser three weeks ago. It
was so fun. We had something
like a grenade, you put Mentos in
a tube and there’s this pin that
you pull. T he pin holds the Mentos
up in the tube. So when you take out the pin the
Mentos drop into the soda, and well, you know what
happens next! The whole class watched the geyser
explode and it was at least fifteen feet tall! There
wasn’t much soda left.
Bob Dole
By Kylie Anderson
Our class has a couple of animals and one of their
types was a spider (tarantula). The spider’s name
was Bob Dole. She was 12 years old when she died
December 17, 2010. Everybody will always remember
her as if it was their pet. She was part of our
classroom family.
Planaria
By Mackenzie Burt
My class has new pets. We have planaria, snails,
and hydras. My favorite one is the planarian. I f you
cut its head in half it will grow two heads, but if you
cut it in half it will be two planaria. You can look at
it under a microscope.
News from Mr. Frisz’s 5th Grade: There has really
been a lot happening in our classroom. In November,
we took a trip to the Challenger Learning Center in
Brownsburg. What a great learning experience! Our
mission to the moon was successful.
We recently completed a Social Studies simulation
called Galleon. Four Spanish galleons and one English
privateer set sail on an adventure to
the new world in the 16 th century.
The galleons were to bring gold and
riches back to Spain while the privateers
tried to sink the galleons and
steal their treasure for England. In
the end, the privateer’s crew was able
to sink 3 galleons to win the simulation. Ellen Smith,
Kaitlin Harris, Larry Scofield, Andy Kapperman
and Carter Herrin made up the crew of privateers. It
was a lot of fun and we learned a great deal about the
early explorers and the hardships they faced.
We welcomed a student teacher to our class in January.
Mr. Jason Renn, a student at ISU, has been
teaching and doing an awesome job. Mr. Renn plays in
a band, makes guitars as a hobby, and lived in Grand
Cayman when he was young. It has been fun learning
from him. We wish him luck in his future endeavors
as a teacher. Mr. Renn has also been teaching science
using the Science Fair simulation. The students are
learning all about the scientific method and preparing
a science fair project while trying to solve a mystery.
It has been very interesting.
The following students have celebrated or will celebrate
birthdays soon: Claire Rupert (Nov. 4),
Kaitlin Harris (Dec. 27), Logan Richards (Jan. 6),
Larry Scofield (Feb. 8), Kylee Bryant (Feb. 17). We
wish you all a happy birthday!
Lost Creek will be participating the Scripps National
Spelling Bee. Representing our class in the school
competition will be Ellen Smith and Lane Deverick.
They were the winners in our classroom competition.
Good luck Ellen and Lane!
Kaitlin Harris will be representing our class in the
annual Honey Creek Math Contest on Saturday, Feb.
5. She and the rest of the Lost Creek Math Team have
been competing in the Online Math League as well.
Good luck to Kaitlin and the rest of the math team.
WLCN is back on the air with weekly news broadcasts.
Tayler Sams and Gabe Schaffer are part of the
news crew behind the scenes. Our class will get to present
the news on Feb. 11. It is exciting to see yourself
on TV. Looking forward to spring!!
In recognition of President’s Day, Ms. Cottom’s
and Mrs. Laubert’s classes at Lost Creek Elementary
School collaborated to create a “Hall of Presidents”.
Each student selected one of the 44 American Presidents
and researched their biographical facts along
with highlights of their terms of office. Each student
created a life size replica of their president. The presidents
proudly line the entry halls of Lost Creek. Each
president has a famous photograph beside his rendition.
The biographical facts are displayed beside each
president to inform and educate the Lost Creek students
of our American Presidential History. The students
enjoyed the research, writing, and publishing of
their information with the use of technology. We are
proud to display our heritage. Please feel free during
the month of February to come take a tour of our “Hall
of Presidents
