<strong>Consan</strong> <strong>Turf</strong><br />
<strong>Turf</strong> Fungicide and Algaecide<br />
CONSAN TURF is a fungicide and algaecide for the control<br />
of fungal and algal pathogens on fine turf grasses. Used<br />
as directed, the pesticidal residues of this product are<br />
biodegraded by normal soil micro-organisms.<br />
Treatment of Golf Course Greens, Tees, Fairways<br />
and Other Commercial Recreational <strong>Turf</strong><br />
To control fungal diseases in turf grasses, including dollar<br />
spot (Sclerotinia), fusarium blight (Fusarium), leaf spot<br />
(Helminthosporium), brown patch (Rhizoctonia), fadingout<br />
(Curvularia), pythium, fairy ring, rust, toad stools, and<br />
algae on turf, spray a solution of one pint (16 fluid oz) of<br />
CONSAN TURF in sufficient water to treat10,000 sq ft or<br />
1/4 acre. Treat entire area to prevent spread of infection<br />
or at least one foot beyond the edges of isolated diseased<br />
areas. Saturate the entire treatment area, wetting all<br />
turf surfaces thoroughly. Repeat spray applications every<br />
10 -14 days, as needed to control new or established<br />
disease conditions. Treatment is required during the warm<br />
growing season and may be made when the turf is dry<br />
or damp, but not during wet rainy weather.<br />
DIRECTIONS FOR USE<br />
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner<br />
inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way<br />
that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or<br />
through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during<br />
application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe,<br />
consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.<br />

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS<br />
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS<br />
Causes eye damage and skin irritation. Do not get in eyes, on skin or<br />
clothing. Avoid breathing spray mists. Do not use on feeding and grazing<br />
grasses, or on turf grown for sod or seed.<br />
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE): long-sleeved shirt and long<br />
pants, socks, shoes, gloves, and protective eyewear.<br />
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS<br />
This pesticide is toxic to fish. Do not apply directly to fish bearing<br />
waters. For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water, or to areas<br />
where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean<br />
high water mark. Do not contaminate watersn by cleaning of equipment<br />
or disposal of wastes. Avoid application to turf areas actively grazed by<br />
waterfowl. GENERAL: Consult Federal, state or local authorities for<br />
approved alternative procedures.<br />
STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT<br />
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for<br />
at least 15 minutes. For eyes, call a physician. If swallowed, drink promptly<br />
a large quantity of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution, or if these are not<br />
available, drink large quantities of water. Avoid alcohol. Call a physician<br />
immediately. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.<br />
FIRST AID<br />
IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor<br />
for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so<br />
by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give ANY liquid to the<br />
person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.<br />
IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse<br />
skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a<br />
poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.<br />
IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water<br />
for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first<br />
5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center<br />
or doctor for treatment advice.<br />
IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call<br />
911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably<br />
mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor<br />
for further treatment advice.<br />
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN<br />
Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.<br />
Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion<br />
may be needed.<br />
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT<br />

APPLICATORS AND OTHER HANDLERS MUST WEAR<br />
Long-sleeved shirt and long pants. Chemical-resistant gloves, such as barrier<br />
laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, polyvinyl chloride,<br />
or viton. Shoes plus socks. Protective eyewear. Dust/mist filtering respirator<br />
(MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C). Follow manufacturer's<br />
instructions for cleaning and maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for<br />
washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately<br />
from other laundry.<br />
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL<br />
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.<br />
STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, locked area out of reach of children.<br />
Protect from excessive heat. Keep container tightly closed in storage<br />
to prevent entry of water.<br />
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Waste resulting from the use of this product<br />
may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.<br />
CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Triple rinse (or equivalent). Then offer for<br />
recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary<br />
landfill, or by incineration, or if allowed by state and local authorities,<br />
by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.<br />
Warranty: Seller warrants that the product conforms to its chemical<br />
description and is reasonably fit for the purpose stated on the label when<br />
used in accordance with directions under normal conditions of use; but<br />
neither this warranty nor any other warranty of merchantability or fitness<br />
of a particular product expressed or implied, extends to the use of this<br />
product contrary to label conditions, or under conditions not reasonably<br />
foreseeable to the seller; and buyer assumes the risk of any such use.
