Just the right turn for the right room climate<br />
If requested, the proven <strong>GEA</strong> MATRIX control unit will be integrated<br />
into the <strong>GEA</strong> <strong>MultiMAXX</strong> at the factory. Your benefit:<br />
only <strong>com</strong>pletely tested equipment will be supplied to your<br />
construction site.<br />
<strong>GEA</strong> MATRIX is available in configuration levels 2000, 3000, or<br />
4000, with adaptation to the various possible applications. Most<br />
of the versions are provided with the <strong>GEA</strong> MATRIX.Net dualcable<br />
bus system as default, through which all <strong>GEA</strong> MATRIX<br />
units can <strong>com</strong>municate with each other. As a result, it is simple<br />
to implement daytime and nighttime switching actions, and to<br />
control pumps and collect error messages at a single point. <strong>GEA</strong><br />
MATRIX can also be connected to higher-level bus systems.<br />
In addition, <strong>GEA</strong> MATRIX assures energy-optimized operation<br />
of the <strong>GEA</strong> <strong>MultiMAXX</strong>. By means of the summer <strong>com</strong>pensation<br />
function, <strong>GEA</strong> MATRIX takes into account outside-temperature<br />
influences and therefore prevents energy-intensive climate control.<br />

of close collaboration in the <strong>com</strong>pany, <strong>GEA</strong> engineers can<br />
systematically adjust the control system to match every <strong>com</strong>ponent<br />
– and in turn optimally exploit the possibilities of the units.<br />
<strong>GEA</strong> support staff also profit from this arrangement by being<br />
able to quickly and expertly react in case of any questions.<br />
Numerous additional global modules are available as function<br />
expansions of the standard-version local connections of the MA-<br />
TRIX control system. Examples here are: intra-group operator<br />
panels and clock modules, modules for activation control of exhaust-air<br />
fans and chillers, expansion of analog or digital input<br />
and output signals, 0 … 10-V outputs for valves, and integration<br />
into a LON bus system in accordance with the LonWorks standard.<br />
All modules can be simply integrated via the MATRIX.Net bus<br />
