Purpose of Operating Guidelines
• To recognize dispatchable load needs in the market,
• To clarify obligations of dispatchable loads relating to:
– the submission of dispatch data,
– communicating deviations from dispatch,
– $2000 bids, and outages
• To develop a common understanding of requirements;
– Allow loads to implement their control systems and to clarify
compliance expectations
• To make or propose changes in the IESO market systems
