The United Kingdom Group at Bauma 2007 is organised by the Construction Equipment Association (CEA)
- the Trade Association that represents the UK Construction Equipment sector. Our members are established Original
Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), component and accessory suppliers, the trade press and specialist research companies.
Construction equipment production is worth an estimated 12.3 billion to the UK economy and provides approximately
57,000 jobs. Our members export an average of 75% of their production to more than 150 export markets. Our members
are required to manufacture products of proven reliability to high quality standards with a full after sales service.
The CEA works closely with the UK government and its agencies and is recognised as the voice of the UK construction
equipment sector. We are represented in Brussels, as active members of the Committee for European Construction
Equipment (CECE).
