<strong>The</strong> United Kingdom Group at Bauma – Leading the Way<br />
<strong>The</strong> United Kingdom Group at Bauma 2007 is organised by the <strong>Construction</strong> Equipment Association (CEA)<br />
- the Trade Association that represents the <strong>UK</strong> <strong>Construction</strong> Equipment sector. Our members are established Original<br />
Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), component and accessory suppliers, the trade press and specialist research companies.<br />
<strong>Construction</strong> equipment production is worth an estimated 12.3 billion to the <strong>UK</strong> economy and provides approximately<br />
57,000 jobs. Our members export an average of 75% of their production to more than 150 export markets. Our members<br />
are required to manufacture products of proven reliability to high quality standards with a full after sales service.<br />
<strong>The</strong> CEA works closely with the <strong>UK</strong> government and its agencies and is recognised as the voice of the <strong>UK</strong> construction<br />
equipment sector. We are represented in Brussels, as active members of the Committee for European <strong>Construction</strong><br />
Equipment (CECE).<br />
