Our priority in Power Electronics is to make sure that your investment never

stops. This is why we created our inverter with the advantages of string inverters

but none of the inconvenients. Our system includes completely independent

modules which will work individually and where any issue only affects one of

the units and never the entire system. Each module includes its own power

board, control board, ventilation system, IGBT and heatsink, EMC filters, etc to

work as an independent inverter but belonging to an intelligent system. Analyze

HARD AS A ROCK

When you are thinking about an outdoor inverter in any environment for

many years you have to be very sure that the components and materials are

specifically designed for this purpose. In Power Electronics we don’t believe in

chance and we have designed our equipment to pervail even in the most difficult

conditions. Using stainless steel in all our UL inverters is only the beginning

(including rockwool and special outdoor C3 painting), our enclosed electronics

(check our iCOOL system to know more) which also come conformally coated

as standard, our special ventilation system which requires no filters, our high

temperature resistance, our oversized components… come together to bring

you the toughest inverter.

BE THE COOLEST

Temperature is always one of the issues to be considered when talking about

electronics and power. In Power Electronics we don’t believe in cost cutting when

it affects the quality of the product and that’s why we use the best oversized

components that allow us to work at 50ºC ambient with no derating. Our know

how in mining, water treatment plants, CSP facilities in the most demanding

locations all over the world have given us the necessary experience to develop

the perfect technical solution for our UL solar inverter in high temperature and

adverse climatic conditions.

Our iCOOL system keeps a low working temperature because our patented

design allows the electronics to be completely enclosed. This means they will

not receive any dust or dirt from the exterior ventilation system and they will

considerably increase their lifetime, also thanks to their conformal coating as

standard. Our system is divided into two areas as you can see in the image which

allows us to offer the safest and most reliable ventilation solution available.

It is quite often now that we talk about availability of solar systems. The least

efficent inverter is the one which is stopped. That’s why we believe that giving

a 99% avalability is the least we could do. Our modular system guarantees that

a problem in any of the units will not affect the rest of them because it will

automatically be switched off and the power will be sent into the common CC

bus and taken over by the rest of the modules. And we don’t ask you to pay

more for this availability.

Also, in Power Electronics we don’t believe in charging you for giving you service,

we believe it’s our obligation and part of our philosophy since the company was

created more than 25 years ago. That’s why we will also guarantee that you will

have free 24/7 technical service forever with no additional cost. We also don’t

believe in making money charging you for spare parts because we will commit

to have all your spare parts available in 24h.

THE FIRST TO

START AND THE

LAST TO STOP

The first one to start and the last one to stop. In our goal of maximizing your

investment we realized that when calculating the performance of a system during

a number of years, the smallest details can make a great difference. Our inverter

starts with the first sunlight and can work with only 2.5kW of power because

our intelligent system will only start one module at a time, thus maximizing the

efficiency of the system. And the same works for the last sun of the afternoon,

if you try to make these calculations when comparing to other systems you will

find this is an important issue to take into consideration when looking at the

performance of your solar installation.

Our intelligent system always chooses the most efficient situation to increase the

performance, thus a module will increase it’s production power until it reaches

it’s maximum efficient point (MEP) and then another module will start to divide

the power accordingly, you can visualize this in the graphic representation.
