6. Conclusions<br />
This document has updated the previous deliverable DSA1.5 with new results <strong>of</strong> experimental tests<br />
concerning two <strong>of</strong> the deployed DORII applications (EEWS <strong>and</strong> OPATM-BFM). It has also<br />
provided a description <strong>of</strong> the IPv6 test bed setup, <strong>and</strong> reported some data on the evaluation<br />
conducted on it.<br />
The results confirm that currently the network is not likely to be a bottleneck for the DORII<br />
applications under examination, <strong>and</strong> that IPv6 connectivity can be enabled with relatively limited<br />
effort, <strong>and</strong> extended globally upon completion <strong>of</strong> a full adaptation <strong>of</strong> gLite <strong>and</strong> security<br />
components.<br />
