Green Building Congress

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) of CII, as part of its strategies

to promote Green Building concepts in the country, has institutionalised

an annual ‘Green Building Congress.’ Held in different cities since

2001, the flagship event generates awareness and deliberations on

the latest and emerging green technologies, and strengthens the

green building movement.

The 8th edition of the Green Building Congress, held from 5-9 October

Inaugural Session

The inaugural session of the international conference on 7 October was

addressed by the stalwarts of the global green building movement.

MoUs Inked

On 7 October, 2010, MoUs were inked with the Green Building Council

of Australia (GBCA) for Research Collaboration for Carbon Offset in
