4&5 Visitors Included:

Over 10% Growth in Visitors

All companies need new products to survive, and as manufacturers

started to prepare for the return to economic growth, TCT 2009 was

bristling with engineers and their next generation projects. Overall,

TCT 2009 saw a growth of over 10% in attendance, with yet again a

strong international presence. With so few other events showing

growth, TCT is fast becoming THE international meeting place for the

product development community.

TCT 2009 could boast a complete range of Rapid Prototyping and

Manufacturing exhibits. Couple this with a wide range of supporting

product development technologies — and top notch seminar

programmes — and the result was over 2,400 visitors from 30

different countries.

Once again, TCT 2009 was co-located with the micro and precision

component event MM Live. This event exceeded 1,100 visitors, which

gave the two shows an overall total of 3,558 attendees.

Event Marketing

In 2009 we proved that even in difficult economic conditions it is possible

— via an aggressive marketing programme — to grow the number of

visitors to an exhibition. TCT Live 2010 will build upon this successful

formula which means more magazine advertising, extending the reach to a

wider range of industrial sectors and increased use of our highly effective

e-Marketing campaign.

In addition to the 150,000 visitor tickets that will be produced, we will be

repeating the highly successful “personalised visitor invitations” of which

over 20,000 were printed and dispatched through the exhibitors of TCT

Live 2009.

Extensive Marketing

Throughout Leading

Industry Titles

Supporting Partners & Associations

Supported by its own

dedicated magazine, over

150,000 visitor tickets,

plus 20,000+ bespoke

exhibitor invites

• Extensive advertising and PR campaign designed to reach existing users

of rapid product development technologies as well as NEW sectors and

industries that are embracing the technologies for the first time.

• On-the-page advertising, over 150,000 ticket inserts and an

integrated e-media campaign will run throughout a six-month

period up to the event, ensuring that engineers in all sectors know when

TCT Live 2010 is taking place.

• Personalised Exhibitor Invites, printed to order and personalised with the

exhibitor’s logo and stand details. Provided free of charge to all exhibitors

wishing to mail their databases. The TCT Live ticket is more than just a

“ticket”, it is a brochure detailing all the key benefits of attending. Printed

in early Spring 2010, over 150,000 will be carefully targeted to the product

development sector. If you are booked in to exhibit at TCT Live 2010, you

will be invited to add your company logo to this brochure free of charge.

• In-depth editorial support from the leading dedicated Rapid Product

Development & Rapid Manufacturing journal — TCT Magazine —

including a special 16-page preview sent to all pre-registered visitors

during the pre-show period and a comprehensive dedicated catalogue

featuring a stand-by-stand guide provided free of charge to all visitors.

• Regular press releases issued to over 150 outlets including

Visitor Attractions EUROPE’S LEADING RAPID MANUFACTURING

CONFERENCE

The world renowned TCT Rapid Manufacturing conference is characterised

by high quality presentations. This high level conference drew delegates

from over 30 different countries in 2009.

RP&M TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCTION SESSIONS

Following on from the success of 2009, these highly oversubscribed free

seminar sessions presented by Graham Tromans give newcomers to “rapid”

technologies the opportunity to get up to speed as fast as possible and to

be aware of how they can best access them.

LIVE MACHINE DEMONSTRATIONS

TCT Live 2010 is all about live machine demonstrations — allowing the

visitor to compare and contrast in a live environment. If you are planning on

exhibiting working machinery you will be invited to submit details for

inclusion in our extensive marketing campaign.

TECHNOLOGY FOR JEWELLERY SEMINAR PROGRAMME

Building upon the success of the past two years, TCT Live and MM Live

will be running a one-day Technology for Jewellery programme. Last year’s

seminar attracted jewellery and watch-making professionals, both big users

of micro technologies, from all over the UK and Ireland.

METROLOGY SEMINAR PROGRAMME

A full-day seminar programme that takes place on the show floor to

address the issues of metrology in manufacturing. In addition, MM Live will

be looking at the world of micro metrology.

DIGITAL MANUFACTURING FOR DENTISTRY

In 2009 MM Live and TCT Live successfully hosted a one-day seminar for

the adoption of micro and rapid manufacturing technologies into the

dentistry sector. The programme was extremely popular and will be

extended into 2010 as part of our ongoing mission to broaden the reach of

both events.

MICRO MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY FORUM

Through the co-location with MM Live. A series of free seminars seating

over 140 manufacturing professionals. Running on both days, these

seminars will cover all of the key technologies employed in making and

verifying precision micro components.

CO-LOCATED WITH MM LIVE 2010

The third edition of this highly successful event for the technologies used

in manufacturing of micro and precision components.

RICOH ARENA

The venue for TCT Live 2010 itself is an attraction. With a Casino, Fitness

Centre, Bars and Restaurants on site, there are plenty of activities for

delegates after the show has finished — the Ricoh offers a state-of-the-art

event experience and is a perfect home for TCT Live.
