series motorized spindle heads.

Linear bearings with 4 ball rows pads.

Feed is provided by a 50 mm bore hydraulic cylinder fitted with

a magnetic piston and an impact absorber on the end cap.

Include 3 sensors, 1 for rear end, 1 for front end, 1 for fast to

slow feed switchings.

Suggested operating pressure is 40 bar Max.

Adjustable mechanical stop at front end.

Slide units fitted with 6 ball rows pads, or roller pads for heavy

duty applications can be supplied on request.

The hydraulic cylinder can be positioned inside the base.

The unit can be installed in any position: horizontal, vertical or at an angle.

The ISO 40 spindle is, in its standard form, supported by a set of taper roller bearing (R.C.).

Set of pre-loaded angular contact bearings can be fitted on request.

Spindle drive is via toothed belt or chain (units R1 to R6).

The quill axial movement is powered by a built in hydraulic cylinder.

Rapid advance and slow feed are controlled by three adjustable proximity switches (PNP NO+NC) that will operate the relative solenoid

valves of the hydraulic power pack.

A mechanical end stroke stop is adjusted by the relative nut and is ensured by delaying the signal to the quill return solenoid valve.

Peek feed device

F.KD

The deep hole drilling peck feed unit F.KD allows, with proper control circuit, to

retract the quill to initial position and subsequent rapid advance to an adjustable

0÷1.5 mm proud of material contact in the party drilled hole.

It is applied in all cases where the hole dept is greater than 4 times its diameter

when using conventional tools.

The pecks frequence is set by timer and will occur every "x seconds untill the forward

limit switch is contacted. The fast travel is set as standard.

The F.KD is to be fitted between the back of the quill (rear sleeve) and the standard

hydrocheck unit.

Electronic control panel

E.SF - E.SM

The electronic control panel for drilling (E.SF) and tapping (E.SM)

units is supplied in a sealed and wired case.

It can be located on the right (ref. R) or left (ref. L) sides of the unit,

or remotely connected, in which case the required cable length

must be specified.

It reduces the units installation time both on single or multi unit set

u/s as well as the machine PLC configuration. It also gives the units

working autonomy.

It is powered by connecting it to a 380 V 50Hz supply. Other

voltages and frequencies available on request.

LEDs are provided for auto-diagnostic purpose as well as a timer

for depth control dwell setting (when needed in drilling) and peck

feed cycling time.

Cycle start and stop remote signals sockets are provided for

additional functions.

The operating and control sections are handled by a microprocessor.

When installed with other electrical equipment (ex transfer machines)

it is recommended that its use falls within the electro-magnetic

acceptance coefficients as laid out in the EN 50/80 1/2 norm on

interference emissions (CEI 110/13).

In case of clear "interference", suppression filters must be fitted to

motors (particularly on pumps), valves solenoids and relays.

For safety reasons, on a power cut, the unit "on" relay is not kept

energized (it is actuated when unit is fully back).

Maximum allowed motor power

1.5 kW

Connect the control panel E.SF by using a 24 V d.c. - 2.5 W

solenoid valve with anti-interference

Lead screws

M.P.

In the tapping units, the feed rate is generated by the lead screw/nut device, having the

same pitch of the thread to be cut.

It is housed at the rear of the quill, and it operates in oil bath.

Materials are: Screw - Case hardened and tempered 16CrNi4 Nickel Chrome steel.

The thread is ground.

Nut - B12 special phosphorus bronze.

The nut is designed to allow thread wear over its full length, by turning it back to front

periodically, thus extending its working life.

Tapping units M6 - M13 are fitted with lead screw model M.P.610

Tapping units M.21 - M.28 - M.38 - M.42 are fitted with lead screw model M.P.1418.

Modular structure

Z.M

The "Z" modular structure is ideal for the manufacturing of rotary

transfer machines.

The large flexibility of the system enables to display the units supports

in the required position.

At any time, it is possible to implement your machine in expanding

the number of stations by adding more units supports.

The configuration includes:

Central cast iron round support. Provision is made to fit Euroma

indexing tables models T.R.320 and T.H.350 in the center.

Units supports. Suitable to hold the operating units and their mounting

components.

They can be set in any position around the central support to wich

they are assembled through heavy duty clamping plates that ensure

maximum rigidity.

Fabricated base. Standing on 4 adjustable feet.

On request, the following can be supplied:

G.TO

Right angle tables G.TO feature a very limited height in order to improve their

compactness.

Top and bottom faces are ground, as well as the slide "T" slots.

Screws have a trapezoidal section thread, and are held by adjustable double effect

thrust bearings.

Both screws are fitted with independent locking devices as well as setting wheels with

graduations for a 0.1 mm (linear movement.

They can be installed in any position (horizontal, vertical, at an angle).

Tool change turrets

The tool change turrets are designed with the aim of increasing the operating

to be machined. Further cycle time reductions are achieved in machining.

The high quality drive gears, the precision bearings, the bevel GLEASON tooth form, contribute to the high rigidity needed in projected

machining conditions that are normally faced.

Fixed centres heads

V.MT

V.MT series heads are especially recommended for

small holes (10 mm drilling max.) and close centres

distance (9 mm min.)

The body is usually made in extruded aluminium, but

on special applications, other materials can be selected.

In spite of the relatively large spindle centres distance

and high powers that can be obtained, the body is

really compact.

Spindles are supported by a variety of selected roller

bearings, and ball thrust races.

Drill bush plate is recommended.

Lubrication is ensured by LONG LIFE grease and no

servicing is required within 2000 working hours.

On high speed applications, the head can be microfog

lubricated.

T.P.271 - T.R.278

Pneumatic indexing tables

The plate is driven by a very compact rack

and pinion swinging device, wich is totally

contained within the table frame. This

enables the optimum utilization of the space

surrounding the table.

These tables are also fitted with a center

swivel joint to supply air line to the fixtures

mounted on the plate.

When indexing the plate does not lift.

In the T.R.278 model, plate position is

ensured by a tapered pin.

The plate gets pneumatically locked on the

base.

Tables can be supplied fitted with:

pneumatic damper = FP

hydraulic damper = FH

On T.R.278 only, special indexings are

possible.

T.R.222 - T.R.320

The plate is driven by a front toothed

coupling, operated by two counter acting

racks.

The positioning accuracy is ensured by

two tapered pins that engage onto the

plate.

When indexing is completed, the plate

locks onto the base.

A completely air operated versions can

be supplied on request.

Model T.RP320 can be made to stop during

indexing, on emergency.

The plate is driven by a front toothed coupling, operated by two counter acting racks.

The position accuracy is ensured by two hardened and ground HIRTH ring coupling.

After indexing, the plate in engagement with the HIRT coupling will be locked to the

base.

A completely air operated version can be supplied on request, T.HPP.350 - T.LHPP.350.

Model T.HPE.350 and T.LHPE.350 can be made to stop during indexing, on emergency.

Models T.HI.350 - T.LHI.350 are fitted with position controls, but without operating valves.

T.R.600

The plate drive is via single rack and pinion device and front gears coupling ensure a

proper movement of the required load

The plate is accurately positioned and held by two tapered pins fitting info diametrically

opposite seats.

When stationary, theplate is pneumatically locked hard against the base to ensure that no

vibration occurs during machining.

Plate's rotation speed is controlled in its full length by a pneumo-hydraulic unit. The 600

mm (23.62") dia plate rotates after lifting 4 mm (.157").

Table configurations:

T.RPE.600 = (pneumatically operated with electric controls)

T.RPP.600 = (pneumatically operated and controlled)

On model T.RPE.600, start of the table must be done through one 5/2 double solenoid

valve.

T.RPP.600 model is fitted with manual start button as standard.

T.HH.700

Power driven indexing table is fitted with HIRTH coupling.

The plate drive is through a toothed coupling operated by a gear reduced brushless

motor (not supplied).

The hub disengages from the piston by means of a YRT bearing and is supported by

320x400x80 mm taper roller bearing.

Positioning accuracy is ensured by a two 500 mm dia. HIRTH rings coupling featuring

a high torque resistance on the plate.

After indexing, the plate gets locked to the base by a high hydraulic thrust.

The table is supplied with plate position, plate up, plate down inductive switches.

The gear reduced brushless motor (not supplied) must be selected in relation to the inertia

of the loads to be shifted and the requested indexing time.

firmly hold components to be processed.

They can be either pneumatically or hydraulically operated.

Max pneumatic operating pressure is 9 bar.
