The functional variety of the GAMMA instabus becomes<br />
particularly clear in the displays: an overview of all essential<br />
room or building statuses is combined with easy use.<br />
<strong>Text</strong> display <strong>UP</strong> <strong>587</strong> offers nine configurable operating functions.<br />
Every operating function can be configured as: Switching,<br />
dimming, Venetian blind, scene (1 <strong>and</strong> 8-bit), display <strong>and</strong><br />
send value, display text (also value-dependent, 2 switching<br />
values possible), warnings <strong>and</strong> alerts. With LED for status<br />
display.<br />

control functions: toggle, switch on/off, switch on/off <strong>and</strong> dim, transmit value, solar protection<br />
control, save <strong>and</strong> recall of 1-bit scenes when used together with scene modules, save <strong>and</strong> recall<br />
of 8-bit scenes, text, warning <strong>and</strong> alarm messaging, with distinction between short <strong>and</strong> long<br />
button press for control of dimming, solar protection <strong>and</strong> scenes, with an LC-display with two<br />
lines of 11 characters each assigned to each of the upper two pairs of buttons, with user control<br />
of LCD contrast <strong>and</strong> brightness, with LCD background light configurable as orientation light,<br />
with four LEDs for display of switching status, with buzzer for acoustical alarm messaging, with<br />
display <strong>and</strong> entry of date <strong>and</strong> time.<br />
