CAUTION:<br />

Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when<br />

using the overcasting foot to prevent the<br />

needle from hitting the wires on the foot.<br />

Place the raw edge of the fabric next to the guide of the<br />

foot and start sewing.<br />

This stitch is used to finish a raw edge of synthetics and<br />

other stretch fabrics that tend to pucker. Sew along the<br />

fabric edge leaving an enough seam allowance.<br />

After sewing, trim off the seam allowance closer to the<br />

stitches as shown.<br />
