Academic Programme
The Heart of our Programme!
Students have 32 lessons (of 45’ each) per week: 24 hours/week!
There is a maximum of 10 students in each class (average 7).
The students have the same age and level!
After a very precise assessment test, students are placed into different
groups according to age and level, from beginner to very advanced.
LINES has a very international student body with more than
30 nationalities!
At the end of the stay at LINES every student receives a certificate and
a report.
Our teachers are strictly selected and are all qualified, enthusiastic and
professional.

Activity Programme
Work hard, but have fun!
LINES activities staff are dedicated to providing fun activities and games,
outings, sports and leisure activities intended to keep students busy from
breakfast to bedtime.
No time for boredom!
Sports and activities: Badminton, swimming, tennis, volleyball, football,
cricket, squash, mountain biking, aerobics, steps, etc. as well as arts and
crafts.
Pro Sport
For those who want the most out of their time!
Depending on the centre, students can choose Pro Sport such as :
● Pro Football with Arsenal FC.
● Pro Tennis
● Pro Golf
● Pro Horse Riding
● Pro Wellness

The goal of the Pro Sport programme is to provide quality instruction
within an environment that is fun and exciting. The coaches will help
players of all abilities improve their technique, increase self-confidence
and enjoyment of the game. We teach beginners the basics or allow
experienced students the chance to fine-tune their technique.
Students have up to 8 sessions a week. Each session is 45'.
These Pro Sport activities are done with the best professional coaches
from highly recognised organisations such as Gosling (Tennis – Centre of
Excellence), Arsenal FC. among others. All coaches are qualified and are
supervised by our own staff.
As we have a limited number of places available, it is a good idea to
reserve your space soon to ensure participation.

Excursion Programme
Extend your horizons!
The students go on excursions twice a week, an academic visit with the
teachers and leaders which is mid week and one cultural excursion
with the leaders which occurs on the weekend. They are accompanied
at all times by staff!
In England, trips include London (Tower of London, London Eye, the
Globe, Buckingham Palace, Mme Tussaud etc. and shopping in Oxford
Street and Harrods) as well as Windsor, Oxford, Cambridge, St Albans,
Bath, Bristol…
In France, excursions include Paris (Montmartre, Les Champs Elysées,
Tour Eiffel, Le Louvre,…), Versailles,…
In Spain, our students go mainly to Madrid (Prado, Palacio Real, Plaza
Mayor, Museo Thyssen, Museo Reina Sofia).
All entrance fees are included in the price.
Various
Once a week, an optional extra outing in the evening :

Optional excursion to :
● Legoland or Thorpe Park in UK,
● Disneyland Paris and Astérix in France,

Exclusive and Safe Locations
The best for demanding students!
LINES uses the facilities of the best boarding schools. Our students live
in welcoming, comfortable and homely residences.
Boys and girls are strictly segregated into separate houses and age
groups.
Bed linen is provided and changed weekly.
Bathrooms are located conveniently near the bedrooms.
A free laundry service is provided once a week.
Staff are with the students at all times :
• In each house, with the students, there are house-parents and activity
organisers as well as staff from the management who are experienced in
dealing with any problem, big or small.
• During excursions, cultural visits, outings, shopping, transfers from and
to the airport, there are always activity organisers on duty! Our students
are not allowed to leave the centre without the authorisation of both
ourselves and their parents.
• During all activities (classes, sports, arts…) and all meals, our staff are
present and act in full responsibility under direct supervision from the
management who are on site the whole summer!
• Qualified first aiders are on site and on call 24 hours a day and ready
to cope with and advise on any medical problem our students may have.
There are always hospitals or clinics nearby. Each student must complete a
medical form prior to arrival, and medical insurance is the responsibility of
the family.

LINES offers an “all inclusive” programme : all food and drink, laundry
service, internet access, educational materials, excursions, accommodation,
sport activities…. are included in the fees. Students are therefore
free to spend their pocket money on shopping on excursions, in the on
site tuck shop or on extra trips to the cinema or ice skating.

Well - Balanced and Plentiful Food
Adapted to culture and religious preferences
Three cooked meals a day are served. They are well - balanced and
plentiful, and there is always a good choice of main courses as well as
a large salad bar. Beef and pork are clearly labelled to respect personal
and religious preferences. In addition, drinks, fruit and other snacks are
provided at regular intervals throughout the day to fuel our hungry
students!
Welfare
Look after your child as if it was ours!
Welfare is one of our major concerns. We commit ourselves to look
after every single student to ensure that his/her stay is an unforgettable
experience! Our ratio staff-student of 1 to 4 allows us to provide every
child with the highest level of care possible. Obviously, the younger
they are, the more concerned we are, and we always make sure the
students are not left alone and feel able to discuss any worries they
may have on an individual basis.
We insist on the personal touch and care, and with the very young
ones, we adapt the pedagogical programme and the activities to their
level and their age, making them attractive and fun, but always with
the aim of keeping it as intensive as possible.
At LINES, we guarantee you the highest standards of welfare, from
teaching to catering!
Airport Transfers
“Meet and greet Service”
We offer a professional and friendly 'Meet and Greet' service.
Once you have collected your luggage you will come out of the
Customs Hall and see one of our airport representatives, holding a
LINES sign. Coaches/taxis leave at regular intervals to take you to your
centre. On departure, we check you onto your flight and see you
through the departure gate.

schools in England. It is 45 minutes away from
Heathrow International Airport, one hour from
Central London and half an hour from Oxford.
It is set in its own grounds of 110 acres, and boasts
playing fields, 13 tennis courts, an indoor heated
swimming pool (25m), a new gymnasium with fitness
room, 3 glass-backed squash courts and an art room
as well as a theatre, called the Performing Art Centre.

First Time Away
Programme for KIDS
“First Time Away” is a pedagogical programme
adapted for our very young learners; the kids aged 7
to 9. It is based on project learning with the aim of
keeping it as intensive as possible but creative at the
same time.
These little students are also completely separated
from the older students with an independent
timetable, a course director and their own area “The
Secret Garden”.
They also have their own little mascot BENJAMIN
