The <strong>GPC</strong>3 is a high accuracy, high speed<br />

automatic pressure controller and calibrator.<br />

<strong>GPC</strong>3 measures pressure with a patented<br />

multi-ranging quartz sensor and controls<br />

pressure with a novel solenoid-type regulator.<br />

This makes <strong>GPC</strong>3 a truly advanced gas-operated<br />

• QUARTZ PRESSURE SENSOR<br />

TECHNOLOGY<br />

The <strong>GPC</strong>3 uses an oscillating quartz pressure<br />

sensor for reference pressure measurement.<br />

This market leading technology provides outstanding<br />

characteristics of accuracy, resolution<br />

and long term stability. Temperature effects<br />

are fully compensated over the entire<br />

range of operation and the influence of environmental<br />

parameters such as vibration or<br />

gravity is negligible.<br />

This makes <strong>GPC</strong>3 the ideal solution for any<br />

high level calibration application, even in the<br />

most demanding environment.<br />

• TRUE MULTI – RANGING WITH<br />

SINGLE SENSOR<br />

The <strong>GPC</strong>3 offers 6 pressure ranges operating<br />

both in absolute and gauge mode.<br />

Thanks to the metrological performance of its<br />

quartz sensor, each main range is divided in 3<br />

sub-ranges for which independent calibration<br />

coefficients are calculated and stored.<br />

This provides <strong>GPC</strong>3 with true multiranging<br />

capability without the complexity, fragility and<br />

cost involved with multi sensors systems.<br />

Each range can be individually selected or<br />

automatically with the Auto-Range function.<br />

• DUAL PRESSURE GENERATION<br />

MODE<br />

Uniquely, the <strong>GPC</strong>3 enables the user to select<br />

pressure generation mode in order to best<br />

tailor the controller to the application.<br />

For applications where speed is required fast<br />

mode permits to generate a pressure point in<br />

less than 10 seconds.<br />

For applications where very fine pressure<br />

control is required, the fine mode permits to<br />

generate and stabilise pressure within<br />

0.002% FS in less than 40 seconds.<br />

Fast response and minimal overshoot are<br />

provided in both modes through a solenoidtype<br />

regulator which eliminates manual adjustments.
