light, rapid and comfortable, and at speeds of 

up to 96 miles per hour, time flies. Frequent 

inter-city trains connect destinations which offer 

a broad selection of museums, art galleries and 

festivals.

in the Ontario/Québec corridor. It offers seat selection 

at the time of booking, access to Panorama

The Ocean – An overnight train to Atlantic

Whistler Sea to Sky Climb – This 3-hour journey 

follows the famous Sea-to-Sky corridor - a 

link between the 2 world-class destinations of 

Vancouver and Whistler. Not only will you experience 

a relaxing and comfortable ride, but also you 

forests of Northern New Brunswick and have 

a continental breakfast. Detrain in Moncton to 

explore the nearby Bay of Fundy region or take 

a quick trip over to Prince Edward Island. If you 

stay on board, you will continue to Halifax, the 

capital city of Nova Scotia. 

VIA Rail Note: On the “Ocean”, there are only 

Cabins for Two available. These rooms are assigned

MAKING CHANGES TO YOUR RESERVATION: 

Any changes made 45 days or less prior to 

departure are subject to a $50 fee for each 

change. Changes to the departure date, hotel or 

other component within 30 days of the departure 

date make the booking subject to full cancellation 

charges plus any cancellation fees charged by 

the supplier(s). 

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS: A $200 

per person deposit plus insurance premium, if 

applicable, is required within 5 days of your 

reservation being confirmed to you; otherwise 

your booking will be automatically cancelled. The 

balance of the trip cost is due 45 days prior to 

your trip’s departure. Some packages have more 

stringent deposit requirements and are noted 

with the special cancellation policies on this page. 

PAYING BY CREDIT CARD: We accept payment 

by VISA, MasterCard and Diners. Your verbal 

authorization of the use of your credit card 

indicates your compliance with our Booking 

Terms & Conditions and confirms your reservation 

whether or not you have actually signed the 

appropriate draft. Note: the payment transaction 

is processed in U.S. funds in Canada. Some credit 

card issuing banks may charge an additional fee 

for this type of sale. Check with your bank to see if

LATE BOOKINGS: Reservations made 45 days or 

less prior to departure are welcome and require 

full payment guaranteed by credit card, which 

is fully refundable if the reservation cannot be

prior to departure date will be subject to regular 

cancellation penalties at time of booking, if the

OPTIONAL CAR RENTAL INFORMATION: 

Car rental costs are not included in drive 

vacation packages and are the responsibility 

of the renter and are payable to the car 

company at the time of car drop off. 

Should the customer prefer to book their car 

rental through CANADA à la Carte rates do not 

include: gasoline, Loss/Damage Waiver (LDW) and 

the following conditiona apply: Personal Accident 

Insurance (PAI) (available upon request), second 

drivers, meals, attractions, applicable drop off 

charges if the vehicle drop off is at a different 

from the pick-up point, National Park. Entrance 

Fees (available upon request), hotel parking fees 

and airport fees. (Drop-off, LDW and PAI charges 

are subject to change at any time by the car 

rental company). To cover costs not included 

in the rental, a deposit of a valid credit card 

acceptable to the rental agency will be required. 

We recommend that you check your personal 

credit card for insurance policy for car rental 

insurance coverage. Renter must be 25 years 

of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Car 

rental is based on a 24-hour period. A minimum 

car rental period of 2 days applies. 

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: All U.S. citizens must 

carry a valid passport. CANADA à la Carte will not 

assume responsibility for passenger(s) not having 

appropriate documentation.

headquartered at 1745 - 114th Avenue SE, 

Bellevue, WA 98004-6930, is licensed to market 

and distribute Travel Products under the name 

CANADA à la Carte and is responsible to you 

for making arrangements for the tour services 

offered in this brochure, including transportation, 

sightseeing and hotel accommodation. 

The Operator acts as an agent for and makes 

arrangements with airlines, hotels, railroads, 

car rental, bus lines, cruise lines, adventure 

companies as described in this brochure and 

other independent parties to provide you and/ 

or your client with the travel services and 

accommodations. Although great care is taken 

in choosing suppliers, the Operator is unable 

to directly control them and therefore cannot 

be held responsible or liable for their acts or 

omissions. The travel services are subject to the 

conditions imposed by these suppliers, and their 

liability maybe limited by their tariffs, conditions 

of carriage and international conventions and 

agreements. 

If after your travel commences, the services in the 

tour cannot be supplied, or there are any changes 

to the itinerary for reasons beyond the controls 

of the Operator, they will substitute comparable 

services or provide a full refund. A full refund of 

monies shall constitute full settlement between 

the Operator and you. The Operator can assume 

no responsibility for lost tickets or vouchers. 

In the unlikely event that you experience problems 

during your vacation, please forward a written 

account of your concerns to the Operator 

within 30 days of completion of the service(s) in 

question. The Operator cannot assist in resolving 

claims involving supplier(s) that are received after 

30 days. The Operator will make best efforts to 

deal with the supplier(s) in question and endeavor 

to receive a fair settlement for you from the 

supplier(s).
