NEW NVP
WHAT A
BLESSED GIFT
New Independent Consultant, National Vice President
Tammy Knowles Nation; Mission Viejo, CA
When I decided to be a part of Arbonne International, I had no idea
of the journey I was about to embark on. I also did not understand
what a gift I had just received and what a blessing it would be to my
family and others.
My Arbonne Journey began in October 2003 and I can only say
what a journey it has been. Fifteen months after signing my application,
I became a Regional Vice President and six months later, I was
a new National Vice President. It is hard to believe that in two short
years, I am writing my Eye on Arbonne NVP story.
This incredible journey began when my very dear friend, ENVP Cathy
Epperson, called to tell me she had tried some incredible new products
and felt very strongly that I needed to hear about what this company,
called Arbonne International, had to offer. Cathy then began
to share the Arbonne opportunity and she impressed upon me what
a gift it was and how I could share this gift with others. I must confess
that, at first, I did not get what she was saying about how this
business could change the lives of so many. But after attending my
first NTC conference in Texas, the light clicked on for me and I came
back with a whole new vision for myself and for others. Today, I will
tell you that Arbonne is not just about incredible products. Arbonne
is also about an awesome opportunity to take ownership and responsibility
of your life again, and use incredible products in the process.
My advice to everyone would be to build an Arbonne business
now, and when you do decide to, let me offer you some more
advice from experience.
First, you will need to step out of your comfort zone, and no matter
which reach-out method you choose, get into immediate activity!
Activity is essential for building your Arbonne business and you must
stay in activity to grow your business.
Secondly, learn all you can about this industry, our products and our
company. When you fully understand what a gift you have with
Arbonne, you will become passionate about sharing it with others.
The more you share with others, the more your business will grow, but
do not wait to build your business until you learn it all. Earn while you
learn by getting into and staying in activity.
Thirdly, set your goals and be sure to write them down.
Statistics show that you will be more likely to achieve your goals
if you write them down and share them with others.
Finally, be ready for personal growth. I firmly believe that in
order to grow your business, you must grow personally. You
need to believe in yourself even when others do not. Many will
not believe you can achieve success in your Arbonne business
and you need to remember that your success is not contingent
on what others think. Your success is contingent on what you
think. My organization is made up of those “who did” and
those “who did not” know me before starting my Arbonne business.
I have to say that some of those “who did” know me,
decided to join my organization after I became successful. I am
happy to say that today, they, too, have built amazing businesses
and are on their way to becoming Vice Presidents with
Arbonne. My advice is do not wait around and watch others
build to the top. Join them now and build with them because
with or without you, Arbonne will be a household name, and it
will not be a matter of who will know but rather, who will be
the one telling them about it.
In Arbonne, I have often heard the question, “Where do you
see yourself five years from today?” For most, it will be no different
than where they are now. This gift of Arbonne can allow
you to dust off your dreams and live a life full of joy, purpose
and meaning with a limitless vision for the future. My journey
helped me to recognize that we spend so much of our lives
striving to acquire a nice home, car, career and financial security,
but often ignore living a life full of meaning, purpose and
success strategy:
joy. My Arbonne journey has allowed me to experience all of
these things to the fullest and more!
To my husband: Thank you so much for supporting me in this
business and believing in me. You are always there for me in
whatever I do. I hope to give back to you half of what you have
given me over these last 20 years.
To my son, Travis: This next year you will be off to college and
our Arbonne business has given us the potential to send you to
the college of your choice. I am so proud of the young man you
have become. You encouraged me to do this business, even
when I did not feel like it and it is okay that you probably had
an ulterior motive of wanting to drive my Mercedes-Benz.
To my daughter, Kathryn: Thank you for all of your wit, support
and help in my business. You are beautiful inside and out (partly
because of Arbonne’s awesome products) and I look forward
someday to building an Arbonne business with you.
To ENVP Cathy Epperson: Thank you for being my friend,
encouraging me when I needed it and giving me the vision.
You never gave up on me, but instead made me feel like I could
do this business when I was not sure that I could. You will never
know how grateful I am that you shared this business with me.
To Founder Petter Mørck: Thank you for having this vision. You
have made a difference in so many lives.
continued ...
“
You must do the things you
think you cannot do.
To President Rita Davenport: I just love you and your passion
for this company and others around you.
To the Executive Team and the Arbonne Home Office staff:
Thank you for all of your support and help. We could not operate
our businesses without you.
To an amazing team without whom I could not have done this:
You are the foundation on which my business thrives. I have
been blessed to get to know each of you and consider it an
honor to be your National Vice President. It is an amazing concept
and blessing in that helping others achieve their goals and
success, you achieve yours.
To RVP-in-qualification Kelly O’Hagan and NVP Mariam Bell:
You were my first two business builders who joined me at the
beginning of this journey. Kelly, I love your sweet spirit and cannot
wait to present you with your keys to that new Mercedes-Benz
very soon. Mariam, you are my first promoted out National Vice
President and I am very proud of you and the incredible team you
have built. Thank you both for all you have done.
To RVP Toni Garn: I knew I wanted you on my team from the
start because of your great leadership abilities and your organizational
skills. I have learned so much from you about how to
be a good leader. Thank you for your friendship and all you
you have built in such a short time. You rock! I know now that
once you set your mind to something, nothing gets in your way.
To RVP Kelly O’Hagan: It has been such a pleasure to get to
know you. I admire your business sense and confidence. To RVPs
Prizilla Catino and Jill Fawcett: I am so very proud of what you
two have accomplished in a short period of time, and I feel
blessed to have you as a part of our team.
your hard work and your positive attitude. I wish all of you great
success and have no doubt that you will achieve it!
To all my DMs and new Consultants: Let it be said that you do
not get to where I am today without an awesome team. I do not
and will not always have the privilege of getting to know you all
as much as I would like to, but please know that I appreciate all
you do and have done! I wish you all great success and I believe
that if you want success in your Arbonne business, you can
achieve it with hard work and perseverance.
