conséquence of growth from a very low base (also discussed above). When these<br />

phenomena were exhausted, Turkish-Cypriot per capita income feil absolutely, and<br />

subsequently its graduai rise is a fall relative to Greek-Cypriot per capita income, south<br />

oftheUN Buffer Zone.<br />
