The Chemo Pal Mentor Program served 259 families this year, a 4%
increase from last year, while opportunities to engage in free family
activities increased by 95%.
There are no friendships quite like the friendships of our childhood. But
serious illness is like an invisible wall, isolating kids not only from their
regular lives, but from their friends and school activities, too.
CHEMO PAL ® MENTOR PROGRAM
CCA’s Chemo Pal program gives kids a trusted friend to look forward to
during treatments and someone in their corner when they need it most.
Having introduced Chemo Pals to nearly 800 kids in the Oregon area alone,
CCA knows the powerful impact that mentoring can have on a child’s
quality of life.
